I don't like it, but it's not horrible. It does seem masculine to me, though (but I don't care for it for a boy, either), and reminds me of Barbie. Almost like a name for a little boy Barbie doll, lol.
I do know a woman named Darby, though (probably in her early 40s now). She was my dental hygienist for years, bleach blond hair but very smart and very sweet. I always thought the name didn't suit her, though, and she always acted like she disliked her name.
