[Opinions] Spanish boys names
My partner is Spanish and we live in the UK. We want our baby boy to have a Spanish name which will be okay here. My brother-in-law is also Spanish and he and my sister named their son Luis - I want to do something similar - a name that is obviously spanish but won't cause our baby problems at school and in adulthood in England.
I have a shortlist of 11:
Adán
Alejandro
Andrés
Benjamín
Cristián
Felipe
Gabriel
Jaime
Marco
Nicolás
Sebastián
What do you think?

I think Marco would work best than the others, and it's lovely!
Adán, Andrés, Sebastián i Nicolás are also great! My favourite would be Nicolás, since I adore the nn Nico.
I also adore Gabriel, but it would probably be misspronunced.
Anyway, I'd go with a name without accents, it will avoid many problems, I think.
What about:
Paulo or Pablo
Guillermo
Matías (Matias) (yes, it has an accent, but I adore it! :-D)
Bruno
Hugo (pronunced the Spanish way, OO-goh)
Gustavo (the nn Gus is cute, imo!)
Leonardo or Leo (pronunced the Spanish way)
Marcos
Mauricio
Nacho -as a full name, or as a nn for Igancio (I prefer the first)
Roberto
Tadeo
Mateo
Teo
Tristán
Valentín
Hope that helps, and good luck!

I like/love:
Adán
Alejandro
Benjamín
Gabriel
Nicolás
Sebastián
Middle names: Juan, Jose, and Pedro would be okay. Pedro can only be a middle name in the U. S. if you like it. If it was a first name, it would be too associated with Napoleon Dynamite, a popular teen movie in the U.S. I see people wearing shirts that say "Vote for Pedro," so it would not make a good first name in the U.S., but it would be fine as a middle name. Juan and Jose also make great middle names.
