[Facts] Tarzan, Hungarian jungle man?
I came by a Hungarian surname "Tarzan" (in credits after a tv documentary). Did Edgar Rice Burroughs name the King of Apes after a Hungarian or is there a real wanna-be-a-jungleman some where in Magyar (that is Hungary)?

While you are waiting for an expert to answer your question, I will merely point out that there exists on the Internet the text of "Tarzan of the Apes," which I found by using the search engine, Google.com.
Chapter 5 says Tarzan means "white skin."
The author later named his ranch near Hollywood "Tarzana," and in the 1920s it became the name of the town.
Tarzan does not appear as a word in a Hungarian dictionary.
