[Opinions] Re: Birth Announcements - What do you think?
GIRLS:
Elizabeth Joy - nice
Chloe Annabel - nice
Megan Sylvia - nice. I've always loved the name Megan, and it sounds so much better/spunkier with a middle name like Sylvia then it would with, say, Nicole or Marie
Cassandra Nicole - ok. I've always disliked the name Nicole in both first or middle name slots
Ava Jordyn- like Ava, dislike Jordyn
Mariana Elis - like Mariana; Elis looks incomplete to me
Chelsea Angelina Sophia Joss - I don't mind the 4 names, but I don't love any of them. They sound nice together, though
Magdalena - nice
Cynthia Isabella - nice
Taylor Patricia - dislike Taylor, but like Patricia. Here happens again what I said above, though: Taylor Patricia has a nicer ring to it than Taylor Nicole or Taylor Ann or any other "generic" middle name
Madison Pisey - horrible. I really don't like Madison, and while I believe that Pisey is a surname honoring someone, it just doesn't work
Devin Lotte Christine - I wish they had left out Devin ... Lotte Christine is lovely. Lotte is a recognized first name in Europe (especially the Northern and Benelux part), pronounced as "Lotta". If it had to be Devin, I would have preferred Devon - much more feminine!
Taina Vanessa Robbin - I would have preferred Tania/Tanya instead of Taina. It makes me think of "tainted". Vanessa is ok and I don't like this spelling of Robin. BOYS:
David Jacob - great
Christian Elias - nice
Matthew Shing Chee - I like Matthew; I don't know enough about Asian naming practices to judge Shing Chee: it's fine because of ethnic reasons
Maurice Devin - nice
Carmon Jame - Carmon looks like a misspelling of the female Carmen. And what was wrong with James? Why leave out the s?
Watson - interesting, but I think I like it
Zach Lasean' DreMarshall - if the parents don't choose Zachary, it should be Zack. Zach looks very choppy to me. The rest ... nah ...
Tor Christian - nice. Very Scandinavian.
Kilian Frederick - I like it; it's a nice, legitimate first name - but the "kill" in it always does put me off a bit. Frederick is great
Parker Cole - ok
Noah Joseph - ok
Rohan - ok
Davian James - eh, ok, I guess
Devin Anthony - ok
Braden William - ok
Wesleigh - bad
Lamer - bad, reminds me of lament
