Well...
We have had some newbies here lately who were suspicious and irritating at first, until they finally got the rules and started abiding by them. ADT's posting style is blunt and sometimes maybe a little offensive to some, and so that may have gotten some people on edge too.
I did notice that my posts of late may have sounded curt or rude. Trust me, in my head the posts sound like only matter-of-fact pointing out of rules and general "how we do things on BtN".

Most definitely not. Feminity doesn't equal weakness. "Feminine" as in "lady-like", as in "not masculine", as in "fey".
"fey" doesn't mean "feminine"!
It means "Having or displaying an otherworldly, magical, or fairylike aspect or quality".
That is nothing to do with being male or female.
