I have a cousin named Lindsey. I personally prefer that spelling since it doesn't look like it sound be pronounced "Lind-SAY". My cousin has a strong theory that her name should be pronounced "Lind-see"...as if the name was spelled with a C (like Lindcey) instead of with a Z (like Lindzey). I help her enforce it since I have to agree that no one pronounces Kelsey or Chelsey with a Z sound. Kelzey and Chelzey would be ridiculous. So, that said, with the appropriate pronunciation, I really like the name(even though it's '80s). I like it for boys or girls.
