I prefer Lindsey for a girl. As far as I know, Lindsey is the original female spelling. I've known a couple of male Lindsays, so that spelling looks too masculine to be a girls' name for me.

It's funny but I've always read the opposite. That Lindsay is the female spelling and Lindsey is more male. Hmmm...both are nice imo. :)
