[Opinions] Maura?
I've been rereading the appendices to Lord of the Rings, and was reminded that Frodo's real Hobbit name was "Maura". (click Frodo to read why).
Anyway, WDYTO Maura? It reminds me of both Moira and Maureen. However, I like it better than either of those too names. It sounds less whiny to me.
I can't decide whether I'd pronounce it MOR-a or MAO-ra. Probably the first (from Maureen) in RL, but I imagine in Hobbitish it would be pronounced with pure vowels, more like MAO-ra.

I've always loved Maura!
I like it, it's a feminine but strong name and quite unusual, the Hobbit thing is interesting ... although I've never read LOTR
I would pronounce Maura MOOR-rah (moor rhymes with poor)
I dislike both Maureen and Moira though, I find them ugly
