I like Samuel but Samantha is on my hate list ... I really don't like it for some reasonI don't like masculine sounding names on females alice x

interesting, i think Samantha is very feminine (unless you choose to call her by nn Sam...i guess i'm not a nn person anyway)

Oh don't listen to me ... I think Alexandra and Henrietta sound masculine as well :S, also the -antha reminds me of Anthony alice x

well i never thought of it that way. you really do look at all parts of the name! (when you think about it, most female names derive from some male name or another)
