I have a male cousin named Brook so I've always seen it as male too.
I think Brooklyn is usually thought of as feminine because of the trendy "lyn" ending. Most names that end in "lyn" are feminine, and plenty of parents believe that throwing "yn" on the end of name that ends in "in" or "on" will make it feminine. But, like Evelyn, I think Brooklyn can be used as a male name. I don't really like it on either gender.

I got it in an email a few months ago. I have a bigger version, but I had to resize it to put in photobucket. You can use it! Let me know if you want the bigger one.

ahh..I saved it, but its only as a still photo. I don't know how to animate it.

That's weird. It doesn't save as .gif? If it saves as .gif then it should be animated. Maybe the program wont let it animate. Normally when I use MSN, the icons can't be animated even though the file is. They just use the first frame.
