[Opinions] Re: Alberta
in reply to a message by Adria
I live in Canada, but in British Columbia. I've been to Alberta once in my life, ostensively to attend a cousin's wedding (which was really just my family's excuse to go to the West Edmonton Mall, the largest mall in the world, lol). That was some years back, and I only remember the province a little. I remember it was quite sunny and warm, and nice. But as for the name Alberta itself, strangely enough it doesn't remind me of the province. I like it though, as I like old-fashioned names and Alberta sounds particularly elegant and regal to me.EDIT: Typo: obstenstively -> ostensively.

It can also be "ostensively" (m)  ·  Miranda  ·  2/20/2005, 12:55 PM
Hm, thanks. Never heard it, and it wasn't in Cambridge. nt  ·  chazda  ·  2/20/2005, 2:29 PM
