If it's spelled Annalise, I say AN-a-leece. If it's Anneliese, I tend to say it the German way, ANN-uh-lEEZ-uh.I think Annalisa is the prettiest form, but it's a lovely name :-)I dislike Makailey though, because it seems made-up.

Anneliese (I prefer this spelling) is alright, but getting too popular for my tastes. Makailey, no matter how you spell it, is just bad imo. It is just another Mc- name to me, even though it starts with Ma-, and a horrible butchering of Michaela, which is a real name. Adding Mc- to any name/mixture of letters (i.e. McKenna, McKenzie, McKayla...and furthermore Mc means "son of"!) is like calling your child McNugget or McFlurry. Just tacky. Edited to add: I pronounce Anneliese/Annalise, etc. like ANNA-lease, but the other prns are nice, too.

Anneliese/Annaleise is beautiful, but please, not Makailey/Makaileigh!!

I don't care for those names. I think Anneliese (or any of the spellings) is very sloppy looking and sounding. I pronounce it as Anne-lease. Makailey and Makaileigh are so trendy. The Mc, Mac, Mak names for girls is so trendy, and now, sorry, have become disgusting. Both names looks horrible, but Makaileigh takes the cake. Sorry to be so blunt.

I know someone called Annalise and so just because of that I like that spelling best.
Makailey I admit sounds really made-up. The Ma/Mc prefix is incredibly trendy-sounding and normally I don't like 'trendy' names but for some reason I like the Mc/Ma names, even though I wouldn't use them. Anyway, if you really like Makailey, I prefer that spelling to Makaileigh.

I like Anneliese or Annelise better (not the Anna- form) and Makailey and Makaileigh do not look like names to me. They are too made up and seem like part of the Mac-Naming trend (Mackayla, MacKenzie, etc).

I'm not a fan of the name Annaliese no matter how you spell it. I kinda like Makailey/Makaileigh, but I think that if you're going to go that route, the more traditional spellings are nicer (Mikaela, Michaela, etc.)

I'm 21I think Makailey sounds rediculous. Its very made up and a combination of a lot of silly trends not to mention the fact that the "Mack" prefix is masculine...and Kailey is a girls name.
Annalise is beautiful, very classic and mature sounding Makailey just seems silly next to it.

Annaliese is beautiful, but Makailey / Makaileigh is, quite, honestly, awful to me. It's trendy, trashy, immature, and pointlessly made up. Michaela (or an appropriate international spelling honouring your heritage: i.e. Mikayla if you're Ukrainian, Micaela if you're Italian, etc.) would be much better to me; or you could choose Kayley (proper Irish spelling) or Kaylee / Kayleigh (combo of Kay + Lee / Leigh).I prefer Annalise in looks, but Anneliese is the original spelling. Annalisa (Anna + Lisa) would also be nice to me.Miranda

I really like Annaliese (this spelling better) but Makailey is nmsaa, sorry.
I'm not a big help with pronunciations, English isn't my maternal language and I can barely write correctly, so most pronunciations are a mystery to me!Eva
