Ooooh-wheeee! My favorite perfume. I once stalked down a woman in the Athens subway to ask her what perfume she was wearing so I could buy one for Mme
Che . Mme
Che was pleased and rewarded me with the guy's version of Issey Miyake, which beats Eau Sauvage (my aftershave for over 15 years)with a stick :p
Since I have a personal stake in the matter lemme give it a (long) shot: Issey may be a westernized version of the Japanese word "issei" which means "a Japanese immigrant, especially one to the United States". The word itself is derived from "ichi" (one, first)and "sei" (generation).
