I think it's too much of a stretch - it seems a little contrived. I don't think Everett needs a nickname but I suppose Evvie (eh-vee) would be nice used informally.

PSI do love Rhett on its own though. The only reason I wouldn't use it is that I love Scarlett on a girl even more, and you could hardly have both in a sibling set :-S
