HelpNyx' Choose-Your-Own-Adventure KUY CAF - Round 5 (Spouse 1 of 5)
Personal note: I am so very sorry that this round has taken so long in getting out. I've had a lot on my plate at home, and just haven't had much screen time. I will try and get another 2 rounds up (at least) this weekend!
Ok, the rules are pretty simple, I'll be providing two or more options, and you follow the "adventure" that suits you best. Each "adventure" will have it's own set of naming rules for that round. Stories are optional, but always enjoyed and encouraged :) Ages are optional, and you keep track of them yourself. I will not be killing off any family members in this game, but you may chose to do so yourself. I'll provide links to each previous round, so you can quickly find your family. You can chose to sign up and join at any time, just work your way to the current round.
Note: Just because your chose Adventure # in one round doesn't mean that you are stuck with that # for every other round. Each round you can chose your own adventure (hence, the name).

DC = Darling Child, or a first generation child. All other children are second generation.
If you wish, you may have a couple split/divorce in any round. If they divorce in round 6, they can remarry in the next spouse round.
This is the first of 5 "Spouse" rounds. A "Spouse" can be a husband/wife, boyfriend/girlfriend, or fiancé/fiancée. A "Spouse" doesn't have to be of the opposite gender. The choices are up to you.
After each spouse round there will be at least one child round. You may chose to have as many children marry as there are adventures, or as few as 0. Adventure 1:
Your DC has met the love of his/her life. At least, that it what s/he thinks now. The relationship has been going on for the last 3 years, and has been very a rocky/on-again-off-again sort of relationship. However, the two of them have grown up tremendously in the last year, and they might actually have a chance. His/her Spouse is very fiery and also very earthy. It makes for an unusual combination at times.

Adventure 2:

You are not pleased that your DC is moving so far away, but you are very happy that they are in a good, solid relationship.

Rex and Daphne Rollins met at a political speech – Rex was there to support the candidate speaking; Daphne was there to protest every stance the candidate took. They got to talking (well, debating, really) after the speech and realized that, aside from their political differences, they actually had a lot in common. And, while they might not agree with each other on political issues, they could respect each other’s views and passion.
Round One:
When Daphne began getting sick in the mornings only a few months into their marriage, Rex and Daphne were sure that she just had the flu! When it persisted, they finally decided to get Daphne to a doctor. Both were shocked that she was already pregnant, but they were also overjoyed! Of course, naming their daughter was a challenge. Rex wanted something classy, like Vivian; Daphne wanted something a little more creative, like Amethyst. Finally, they were able to agree.
Round Two:
Daphne and Rex felt a little overwhelmed when they discovered that Daphne was pregnant again shortly after Vi turned one-year-old! And they were even more overwhelmed when they found out that they were expecting twins! Luckily, at least Albert seemed to be quiet; unluckily, Flora has very powerful lungs. These personalities have carried through their lives, so far. Albert prefers to be observant and, when forced to speak, barely whispers. Flora prefers to jabber and has no problem striking up conversations with random strangers.
Rex and Daphne were feeling good about their family when Daphne realized that she was expecting, again! Little Georgie was named after Rex’s recently-deceased grandmother and after Daphne’s favorite city in the world.

Things have moved very fast for the Lapointe family in the past two years. About a year ago at the beginning of the twins' senior year, two exchange students arrived at their school and forever changed Nathan and Ben's lives. They all became fast friends, the boys showing them the ropes and helping with their English (the boys are almost fluent in French which helped) while Ruby Beorgeois (Lyon) and Olivine Gonzalez (Paris) showed them their culture. A few months later they paired off, Nathan & Olivine and Ben & Ruby. At the end of the year after graduation, Nathan proposed to Olivine and that summer they married and they both moved to Lyon for post-secondary. Ben also recently proposed to Ruby and they are getting married next spring in Paris. Although both of the eldest LaPointe are living in France, they promised to visit at least 3 times a year.

Reuben and Delilah Richards' eldest sons, twins Josiah and Tobias, have recently married. It must be said, that whilst Reuben and Delilah are happy their sons have chosen to settle down, they have reservations about both marriages.
Josiah has married a young woman called Alfreda, whom he first met during freshman year at college three years ago, and the relationship has been on-off-on-off-on-off-on-off ever since. The pair have matured during the last year, but Reuben and Delilah are concerned that the relationship may hit the rocks again.
Tobias has married a young woman called Junio, who for the first five years of her life, grew up within a cult that her parents belonged to. The cult wasn't a dangerous one, but it did have a few bizarre beliefs, that the parents have held on to despite leaving the cult when Junio was five. Junio is rather free-spirited and shares some of her parents' 'out there' beliefs, but while that concerns Reuben and Delilah slightly, for Tobias it is one of the reasons he is so in love with her.

The last four years have seen the Roberts family grow together as a family and settle comfortably into the size of the family. There was a considerable hole missing two years ago, however, when Ambrose left for college. His absence affected each of his brothers and sisters as well as his parents but to everyone’s relief, he settled into his new grown-up role smoothly. He immediately started excelling in his classes, made new friends, and met a slightly spacey young woman named Winter Morgan. According to Ambrose, he simply could not see past her. She lived in the same dorm as Ambrose their freshman year, she on the 2nd floor, he on the 1st. They met at a freshman mixer for the dorm and quickly became friends. While Winter was hesitant to commit to a boyfriend so soon after beginning college, Ambrose knew that he wanted no one else. They didn’t start dating until shortly after winter break of their freshman year. After spending up to two hours a day on the phone every day they were apart, Winter finally realized that her discontent over being separated from him was more than just a friendly feeling. They started dating immediately upon returning to campus. The young lovers have not looked back.
In the meantime, back at home, Sullivan seems to have a new girlfriend every few weeks. As a senior, he is a star running back on his high school’s football team and is being courted by several universities with the promise of a football scholarship. His parents are more than a little concerned by Sully’s dating habits, though. He has had four different girlfriends since he started his senior year alone! More than once Delia has been in the living room when a crying girl would come bursting from Sully’s room and run from the house (much though Delia didn’t even know he had a girl over). Most of the time when Sully has a girlfriend he does not bother to inform his parents; they just all of a sudden see a new young lady fawning over him.

She lived in the same dorm as Ambrose their freshman year, she on the 2nd floor, he on the 1st. They met at a freshman mixer for the dorm and quickly became friends. While Winter was hesitant to commit to a boyfriend so soon after beginning college, Ambrose knew that he wanted no one else. They didn’t start dating until shortly after winter break of their freshman year. After spending up to two hours a day on the phone every day they were apart, Winter finally realized that her discontent over being separated from him was more than just a friendly feeling. They started dating immediately upon returning to campus. The young lovers have not looked back.
In the meantime, back at home, Sullivan seems to have a new girlfriend every few weeks. As a senior, he is a star running back on his high school’s football team and is being courted by several universities with the promise of a football scholarship. His parents are more than a little concerned by Sully’s dating habits, though. He has had four different girlfriends since he started his senior year alone! More than once Delia has been in the living room when a crying girl would come bursting from Sully’s room and run from the house (much though Delia didn’t even know he had a girl over). Most of the time when Sully has a girlfriend he does not bother to inform his parents; they just all of a sudden see a new young lady fawning over him.

Adventure 1 & 2: Callie and Rafaël had been dating since their high school days. Both were fiery and artistic and not afraid of shouting and fighting. When they fought it was like hell on earth and more dramatic than any Hollywood movie, but when they were done they made up and were more in love than ever. Landon MacDougal & Vienna York were the high school quarterback and the captain of the cheerleading squad, they were highschool royalty, but they both had very humble ambitions. Growing up in a small town they loved, they knew that they didn't want to head off to college or anything like that, it just wasn't for them. Straight out of high school they got married and Landon opened his own garage while Vienna is more than happy being a Wife and eventually a Mom.
Round 1:
Vienna had always wanted to be a Mom so she and Landon started trying for children not long after their wedding. They were thrilled to discover they were expecting and set about to prepare for their child. It was at their 20 week scan however that they discovered that they were in fact expecting TWINS! They were understandably terrified but now that Noah & Josh are here they're so thrilled to have such handsome identical twin boys.

Noah & Landon are off at school now, the next generation of MacDougal's terrorising the school systems as the teachers like to jest as they fondly remember what a little hell-raiser Landon himself once was. That leaves little Paige, or Sunny as most call her because of her perpetually sunny disposition. Paige is a bright, smiling, joyful little girl whom everyone adores.

Noah & Josh are typical little boys who love sports, and Vienna often has to step in when their 'play fights' get a little too full on. Other than that however, the sisters are very different. Sunny is very much a little girl, whereas Chloe is happier playing rough and tumble with Noah & Josh than playing dress up with Sunny.

Florence and Tuesday met at coffee shop down by her University three years ago. Tuesday struck up a conversation with her and eventually asked her out. They both feel that, for now, they don't want to get married but both are under pressure from their vastly different families.
Talon and Alfred met on campus. Alfred was visiting his elder brother and bumped into bumped into Talon, who immediately shoved him back. He took it back once he got to know Alfred, after their fight, and apologized. Alfred is from Italy and serving as a Doctor in Pakistan while Talon is an officer. They have also been dating for three years, although theirs have been much rockier than Florence and Tuesday's, and appear to have grown up in the last year or so. Alfred is a sweet young man who would get along famously with Florence, Rosa and Schuyler. He graduated High School at twelve and quickly set to work on his degree.
Astrid only met Malachite a short year ago, he was a student in a class she was peer tutoring, and theu hit it off. Astrid thought it inappropriate to date him while she technically had authority over him and he agreed. Malachite ended up asking her out for the second time on the very day after his exam. They have been dating for around six months and Malachite actually proposed! Roland and Delilah aren't exactly happy about Astrid moving to France with him but can see that the young Frenchman makes their daughter happier than she's been in a very long time.

It has been five years and the St. John family is finally expanding...by marriage this time though.
TC and her wife Dia met during their freshman year at high school. Dia had finally convinced her radical parents to allow her to attend school with children outside of their "beliefs". Five years later Dia has left her old life behind, although a few of her old quirks will never really leave her.
Scout is off to France! For his senior year of high school Scout was part of an exchange program that took him to France. While he was there he met Jade, and instantly fell in love. His parents thought it was just a reaction to the new enviorment at first but the two have stayed in touch and now Jade is here to complete her secondary school. The two plan to move back to France together after graduation and start their life together. Levon and Vera are sad to loose their first little boy, but absolutely love Jade which is helping to soften the blow a bit.
Ralf. Ralf and Maybelle are like fire and ice. Ralf is a very passionate perfectionist as well as a animal rights activist. Maybelle...well Maybelle prefers to fly by the seat of her pants and a good down home clam bake. How the two can manage to get along, nevermind date, is beyond anyone's comprehension. And yet Maybelle is sure this is the one. While Levon and Vera are true believers in young love...they are concerned about Maybelle's choice.
As for the rest of the family things are going well. Levon and a friend have openned the resteraunt he had always wanted. A small place on the waterfront selling the catch from Vera's dad's fishing company. A real down home family business. It thrives in the summer with the tourists, and stays afloat in the winter from the trustee townies who know a good fish shop when they see one.

Josiah and Caleb have gotten engaged!
Caleb proposed a French girl that he met when he was a senior in high school. They became really close friends, and then, soon after, more than just close friends. She is eighteen and just graduated from high school. They plan to wait until Ruby is twenty-one before they marry, and after that to move to France. Caleb is excited about this prospect and can't wait for the next three years to go by. He is expecting them to simply fly by, since he is so in love with Ruby, and Ruby with him. Louis and Nikki aren't quite sure what they think about Caleb moving so far away. They are happy, though, that he has a nice fiancée and that they are waiting until she is older to marry.
Josiah is engaged to a nineteen-year-old girl with quite an attitude at times. Clovia can be sweet and then the next moment be sour. She and Josiah have been going on and off with their relationship. One day they almost quit seeing each other altogether. In about a week, Josiah couldn't keep away any longer and asked for Clovia's forgiveness. She forgave him. That was a year ago, before Clovia and Josiah really became more mature in this matter. Josiah and Clovia will make a happy couple, and Louis and Nikki are glad that they, too, are waiting until Clovia is older. Josiah and Clovia won't marry until Clovia is twenty-two, for they are wanting to have a double-marriage with Ruby and Caleb.

Josiah and Caleb have gotten engaged!
Caleb proposed a French girl that he met when he was a senior in high school. They became really close friends, and then, soon after, more than just close friends. She is eighteen and just graduated from high school. They plan to wait until Ruby is twenty-one before they marry, and after that to move to France. Caleb is excited about this prospect and can't wait for the next three years to go by. He is expecting them to simply fly by, since he is so in love with Ruby, and Ruby with him. Louis and Nikki aren't quite sure what they think about Caleb moving so far away. They are happy, though, that he has a nice fiancée and that they are waiting until she is older to marry.
Josiah is engaged to a nineteen-year-old girl with quite an attitude at times. Clovia can be sweet and then the next moment be sour. She and Josiah have been going on and off with their relationship. One day they almost quit seeing each other altogether. In about a week, Josiah couldn't keep away any longer and asked for Clovia's forgiveness. She forgave him. That was a year ago, before Clovia and Josiah really became more mature in this matter. Josiah and Clovia will make a happy couple, and Louis and Nikki are glad that they, too, are waiting until Clovia is older. Josiah and Clovia won't marry until Clovia is twenty-two, for they are wanting to have a double-marriage with Ruby and Caleb.

Day and El met in college. Day was working at El's favorite on-campus Starbucks, and they noticed one another. They started chatting one day, and found out they were in the same European history class. They started studying together and the two really clicked. El thought Day's life story was extremely interesting. He was born in what was a former hippie commune to parents who were part of what was called the Sunflower Society. This society was extremely invested in the hippie way of life, living all in one large house and sharing food and work and sexual partners. They were against marriage, believed in meditation and the power of nature, and were against cities and businesses. They also believed in drugs, however, and this was why Day's parents left. They had caught a fellow member trying to give Day pills, and left that very night. Though Day grew up away from the Sunflower Society and left most of their ideals behind, he is still very liberal and very into the green movement. He has been to at protests outside polluting factories and animal testing facilities, which gave Leo and Violet pause but El admired.

Never did Tori and Luke think that two of their kids would be married before they turned forty. As it turns out, both Danny and Scout have wives, albeit young ones. Danny's wife, Tembia, is unique. She spent her youngest years in a small cult organized by her uncle. When she was five, her parents left the cult in hopes of a better life elsewhere; however, they still practiced some strange things. Tembia has, for the most part, left her odd family behind, but she occasionally voices some belief or custom that Danny finds outrageous.
Scout's wife is from France. She was in his senior class in high school, and the two of them fell in love immediately. When Livie had to return to France, she and Scout kept up a long distance relationship for about two months before Scout couldn't stand it anymore and traveled to France to be with her. They were joined in a simple civil ceremony three weeks ago. Scout misses the US, but is happy to be with Livie.

What's worse, s/he is marrying an old (and now ex) family friend. This relationship has you so angry and you are almost irrational concerning anything regarding it.
