Partner Congrats Round One - No longer accepting sign-ups!

*****
Rules:You and your partner can Private Message each other, or use the postings of each round to communicate.I will not be dropping anyone, no matter how many rounds are missed. However, if, after three rounds, you cannot get in touch with your partner, let me know; I will allow you to name the earliest child on your own (i.e., if you haven’t been able to get in touch with your partner by Round Three, I will allow you to name the first child on your own, but not the second and third, unless you still can’t reach them by Rounds Four and Five, respectively). If you simply haven’t been able to agree with your partner, you cannot name children on your own. If one or the other of you will not be able to log-in for a while, decide amongst yourselves how the naming situation should be handled.*****Between you and your partner, decide what the surname of the family is (hyphenated surnames are fine), if the parents are married, how old they are, etc. Go into as much detail as you guys want. Names for the parents will be from your and/or your partner's personal name list.Births were decided by rolling dice. Use the namebanks at the bottom to name children.Happy Naming! :)**********Anthony & gabriellagrace

Well my real life age is 27, which works for me, I'd be happy with a rang of say 22 - 32, would make for a realistic potrail.

Attn Marija Luminitsa =)Hi there, looks like we're partnered up. It'll be interesting to go through a congrats with a partner. =)Let's get into it. I don't mind what our surname is, though it should probably be something with at least 2 syllables. The parents should be married, maybe somewhere in their 20's. If you like, you can pick the parents names from my personal fn list. So we have a little girl! Names from the namebank that I like as a fn are:
1. Lily
2. Riley
3. Willow
4. Taylor
5. Kaylee
6. Zoe
7. Brianna
8. Isabella - but I hate "Bella" so if she had a nn it could be "Izzy"
9. MadisonI also like Chloe, Emma, Hannah, Natalie, and Sophia enough to use as a mn but would prefer to use one of the numbered names above as a mn as well. Let me know which names you like and we'll set about compromising. Also, do you usually use one or two mns in combos? And that's it, we're off! Looking forward to being partnered with you! =)

Hi!Well, I don't care much about surnames either, so I was thinking something basic. How about Hamilton? I don't care about exact ages, but I would go with something in the late 20s. I saw your favorite names are Sarah and Jack, so I was thinking those could be the parents' first names. Would those be ok? What would you like for middle names?Out of the girls' names you like, I like Zoe, Isabella, and Lily the best. Combos with Lily and Isabella are a little to L-heavy for my taste so I was thinking Zoe Isabella or Isabella Zoe. Thoughts? :-)

Hi again =)Okay, so our form may look like this:Marija Luminitsa & NobodyOfConsequence
LN: Hamilton
DH: Jack Thomas (28)
DW: Sarah Lily (27)
DD: Zoe IsabellaI'm fine with Hamilton as a surname. I chucked in some ages for the parents but I wont mind at all if you want to adjust them. Jack and Sarah would be great as fns. Because of the combo problems with Lily I put that as Sarah's mn. I made Jack's mn Thomas because I saw that was on your list and Jack Thomas is a combo of mine. Is that all okay? If you have other ideas for their mns, that would be fine, I'm just starting somewhere. =)You listed Zoe before Isabella and I numbered them that way too so I figure maybe Zoe Isabella could be our combo. I'm quite happy with that. You?

Um... whatever suits you. If you'd rather go separately, could I claim the DH? My PNL link is in my sig. Seems like you liked the same names from the namebank as I do. My favorites of the ones you chose are Benjamin, Hunter, Jacob, Noah, and Quinn. For our surname: I'm not going to be too picky (;) Most people don't pick their surname), but I love surnames that are combinations of two words (Catchlove, Goodenough, things like that)Also: one middle name or two?

If you want the DH, that's fine. I'll take DW (Nora Caroline). As you have the hubby, I'll also let you pick the surname. Some combos that jump out at me for the son:
Jacob Quinn
Benjamin Hunter
Jacob Noah Quinn
Noah Benjamin

DS:Okay, so we have to agree on a surname and the parents name. Do you think it is a good idea to name one parents each, or one of us choose the FN and the other the MN, or do you want us to agree on all names? And for the son we have, we have to name him using this namebank: Alexander, Benjamin, Christopher, Daniel, Ethan, Fernando, Gabriel, Hunter, Isaac, Jacob, Kevin, Logan, Michael, Noah, Owen, Parker, Quinn, Ryan, Samuel, Tyler, Uriel, Victor, William, Xavier, Yahir, ZacharyMy favorites from the list are Alexander, Benjamin, Isaac, Noah and William.
Daniel, Ethan, Gabriel, Jacob, Samuel and Zachary are okey too. Which ones do you like?

I think we should decide all the stuff together so we both agree. From yours, I like Alexander, Jacob, and Zachary.
Sorry, this is my first time playing congrats. What do the initials stand for?
vote up1
LN is 'last name'
SO is significant other; this will most likely change into either DH or DW, which stand for Dear Husband or Dear Wife, respectively; or, SO could stand for DBf (Dear Boyfriend), DGf (Dear Girlfriend), or DF (Dear Fiance(e))
DS stands for Dear Son; DD stands for Dear Daughter.

Alright! (attn: Nyx)We seem to be paired up for this game! Now, I really haven't a care what the surname of our family is.
For the parents, we use our PNLs. How about we each either name one parent (like one of us names the mother and the other the father) or we each choose one middle name and one first name (like one of us chooses the father's first name and the mother's middle name and vice versa). For the child, we have a son. I'm pretty open, but I've decided to take the bank and take out the names I dislike and I would encourage you to do the same so we can see if we overlab anywhere.Alexander, Benjamin, Ethan, Isaac, Noah, Samuel, Uriel, Victor, William

Sounds great to me - You want to name the DH, DW, or...?DS: Samuel Isaac "Sam"? I really love Samuel/Sam as the first name - what do you think?DH: David Thaddeus "Dave" or DW: Eydis Anais
LN: Dean? Duke? De Witt? I don't know why, but I seem to be on a "D" kickLet me know what you think and we can move on from there :-)

Samuel Isaac "Sam" sounds good to me for the DS.
I'll take your offer of David Thaddeus for the DH, but I really really really hate the nickname Dave.
I don't really like Eydis Anais, though. I don't even know how to pronounce it, to be honest. How about something like Juniper Calista?
As for the surname, as I said before, I don't really care. So our of those choices, I'll go with De Witt since it isn't so monosyllabic.
