Maggie and her husband are still having children. They now have eight kids. The kids are all very close and are a bit shy around their cousins.
Dora and Oscar make a point of bringing their children out here several times a year. The children, Rosie and Felix, are paticularly close to each other which reminds me of Dora and Maggie.
Andy, Naomi, and Ally are all great... and still in Boston. Although this is a disapointment to us (as granparents) we feel blessed that their business is still very sucessful in this difficult time.
Ella, Sam, and their children still come over, but not as often as they used to. The depression has struck them pretty hard and it looks as if they might need to sell their land and move back here.
Peter and Anne have a lovely little three year old. Vicky is very clever and loves to visit the farm. She also loves her cousin Nate, his cat Mittens, and her aunts and uncles, especially Nina. She has Nina's wildness which scares Peter a bit.
Eddie and Hanna have a 16 month old son named Nathaniel. Nate, as he is known around these parts, is very cuddly and has a strong bond with the family cat, Mittens.
Sophia and Danny have not had any kids yet because Soph wants to go to college. The family is currently supporting her decision, as we all know she can change the world.
Nina ran away with her boyfriend, Leo, after only knowing him for a week and got married. At first we were mad but we were also relieved. Leo is a nice boy and the two of them live in town, close enough for us to keep an eye on them.
The rest of the family and I are doing just dandy. Clayton, Solomon, Omer, and Rachel keep us busy, a good kind of busy. I am homeschooling the three youngyins and all four of them are doing quite nicely. After school the boys usually kick a ball around, but Rachel has taken up horsebackriding and violin, and she is actually good at them.
Note to self: Naomi shall be an only child. Rosie and Felix shall have no more siblings. Roland, Wes, and Curt will get a sister in '32
