Last year, she and Henry were married in a lovely ceremony. Bob was so proud to see his daughter get married. He is getting older, but still loves practicing medicine. Beth is busy at home taking care of the boys, but it has been difficult for her since Victoria moved out.

Will joined the war in 1917 and was sent over seas. He was injured shortly after arriving and while recovering from his wounds in a military hospital, he met a French nurse and they soon became engaged. He brought her with him when he came home and in 1918 they married. A year later, they had their first child, a daughter, Marie Therese. The couple has since moved to the country side to start a new life together as simple farmers. Since Lauries’ death, Nat, Betsy and Cate have moved on to secondary school while Josie teaches the two youngest Stark children, Johnny and Meg. Nat and Betsy have their eye on becoming college bound while Cate, though she loves school and learning, looks forward to becoming a homemaker. Mack’s position within the factory as remained stationary and Josie has been making extra income these past five years by becoming a part-time laundress.

Robert was gone, and Meg kept herself busy raising their children, but ever fearful that one day a telegram would arrive... In 1916 Robert was granted a 3 week leave of absence and came home. For that short time, the Bishop's were happy, but when Robert left to return to the war, he left behind more than he realised. Mail was torturously slow in the war, so Robert didn't get the news that his wife was once again pregnant for almost 6 months! Robert was once again granted leave to attended the birth of his 9th child, and the Bishop's welcomed little Cate in 1917, and joy of joy's, the lord smiled on them - before Robert could return to his battalion, the war came to an end.3 years passed and the Bishops have rebuilt their lives as best they can. They came out the other side a lot better than many families, at least Robert came home in one piece, and the war ended just before Rob's 18th birthday, so he didn't even get the oppurtunity to fight... Now, the Bishop's eldest daughter, Alice, is happily married to James Harrods, the son of a wealthy relator in London. The whole family was sad to see her move away, but London isn't that far away. Alice & James do not have any children, although Robert & Meg are anticipating a pregnancy announcement to come along sooner rather than later.

Maggie and David got married in 1917 and in 1918 they welcomed twin boys Aaron and Isaac. Maggie's husband, David, was born and raised in Kansas City and attends the same synagoge as the family. David got a good education but the reason for him leaving the city was that there was too much of the same.Oscar and Dora got married three months ago. Oscar comes from a wealthy Jewish family that lives in Philidelphia and sent him out here to help extend the family bank.Andy and Ella are currently engaged. Ella's fiance is a 23 year old war veteran. His name is Samuel Eugene Levy. From what we can tell he is a very nice guy. Andy is engaged to Sam's younger sister, Gloria Alice or Ally. She is fourteen but very mature.Peter, Eddie, Sophia, Nina, and Clayton are all still single.Because the oldest two moved out, Andy and Peter have school in the morning followed and preceeded by farm chores. Ella also has school in the morning but her chores are to help with the other children. Eddie, Sophia, Nina, and Clayton all have school in the afternoon. They also do chores.
