Welcome to Round three of the Royal Congrats. Each of you now has a Royal family in progress, Royal House, and Kingdom. Unless you specify a daughter as Crown Princess, I will assume that you will name your first-born son Crown Prince.

General Game Rules

Round 3 Rules
* Princes and Princesses must have at least 3 names
* The 5 year-old Prince’s first name must begin with the same letter as his father’s first name. Middle names are your decision.
* The 3 year-old Princess’ first name must begin with the same letter as her mother’s first name. Middle names are your decision.
* Initials are provided for the first 3 names of the newborn. Additional middle names are your decision.
Writing Prompt
Eight years have passed since the Queen’s second pregnancy. Five years ago, your Queen gave birth to a son. Wanting to honor his father, she chose to use the same first initial. Three years ago, your Queen gave birth to a daughter. The King insisted that she honor herself and chose a name with the same first initial as her own. The time between the Queen’s second birth and the birth of your 3 year-old daughter have been a peaceful and tranquil time for the Royal family and the Kingdom. Soon after the birth of your 3 year-old princess, a strange plague began in the countryside. The disease seemed to burn a body from within, melting muscle and slowly killing any it struck. At first, the plague seemed isolated to this one location, but just when it seemed like it was almost gone, the other corner of the Kingdom came down with this fiery plague. Pretty soon, the fiery plague had struck all over the Kingdom. Deaths were occurring in twos and threes, but everybody was getting panicky. The Queen became pregnant in the midst of this panic, and was terrified for her unborn child. The Royal couple consulted a priest, and were told to use a name with the following initials to insure strength in their new child(ren). Taking no chances, that is exactly what they did!

Eight years ago the twins were born, Crown Prince Felix and Princess Léonide were born. Five years ago Queen Elisabeth become pregnant once again and wanted to honor King Nikolai with the name and therefore used the same intial and named the baby Noah. Things were going good, before a strange plague came. People died and people were very afraid of dying. More and more people died and in the middle of all this the Queen was pregnant once more with a econd pair of twins, this time identical twin boys. Everyone was also afraid of what could happen to the unborn children and the King and Queen consulted a priest and told them to use the intials ASN and ARJ for their baby boys. The Royal Family did use those letters and two healthy baby boys were born, Alexander and Archibald, or Alec and Archie as they are called within the family.
Shortly after the twins birth the plague disapered. No more deaths and people are not afraid anymore.

People are fleeing to the countryside while the noblemen are closing themselves up in their homesteads; no one entering but everyone is free to leave. The nobles wish to eradicate all the towns that have been infected. “Burn it to the ground! All of the men, women and children!” King Heinrich disregards these barbaric rants and excuses these nobles from council. Each section of the Kingdom that is reported to have symptoms or cases of this plague are being quarantined. Guards are placed around the city to prevent anyone from entering or leaving. Bodies are being burned in lieu of burial and as expensive as it is, efforts are being made to bring in as much fresh water and food for the living. People are encouraged to not dump their waste water into water sources and are asked to dig latrines away from said water sources. For now, this is all the King can do until the disease runs it’s course.

The war is done for now and I have an heir. The people are starting to rebuild their homes and the Lords are rebuilding their keeps and cities. It looks like we are entering the first quiet period of my reign. I consider myself fortunate as my Father only had 5 quiet years when he was King. 5 quiet years out of 31. I am only now beginning to understand how tired he must have been.
I told Salacia that I wanted to have another son with her as soon as possible. I am a fourth son myself and I sit the throne now, so of all people I should know that having one son is not enough.

General Andor keeps on warning me that our enemies will soon have regained their strength and he thinks we should be expecting them on our doorstep within a year or two. He suggests that we can take the fight to their doorstep instead. But he and I know we cannot do that. We do not have sufficient ships to transport our army to their lands, and if we were attacked before reaching land, we were doomed. There was also the danger from the people from the North. If we moved our army, they were sure to attack. Following his council I decided to have more ships built and more crew trained, so if the people from overseas attacked again, we could hold them off on the waters and shore line, and they wouldn't penetrate our lands as much as previously.

Unfortunately, if you kill off the Queen, you will not be able to continue with the next round as she is vital in my plots...
I have not decided what yet to do with the newborn generation, and don't object to him dieing - however, it may come to a future round where others are providing info on that child and you won't have anything to do...

Following the drought was a tranquil time of peace and prosperity for the Kingdom of Forestmere. Three years after the birth of Crown Prince Nico, Queen Rosabla gave birth to another son. Wanting to honor the King, she chose to use his first initial as the first initial of their son. Two years later, when she gave birth to a daughter, the King insisted that she use her first initial as her daughter's first initial. This was the end of the peace and tranquility...
With the changing of the leaves, a strange plague came to the gateway village of South Heckard. Not knowing anything about this strange new plague, everybody assumed it came from the other side of the mountains in Kehail. After all, there had never been a plague that seemed to burn muscle away and slowly kill a person from the inside out.
The plague was deadly, killing everyone who came down with it. However, it didn't seem to strike everybody. One in fifty seemed to get the plague, but there was no rhyme or reason to who would get sick and who would stay healthy. The healthy farmer got sick, while his ailing mother never got the disease. The woman with chronic cough got sick, and her twin stayed healthy as he had always been. Child died, while siblings and mother stayed healthy.
People were on the verge of panic, and the only reason they weren't was the fact that it seemed isolated to this one village. And then, as it started, it seemed to be stopping. Again, no rhyme or reason, but the cases were starting to dwindle down to just a small handful.
Just as everybody was starting to breathe easy, the plague all of a sudden started up in North Umbrig. Again, it was the same. There was no rhyme or reason to who came down and who stayed well. The only consistent throughout was that it seemed to strike only 1 in 50.
Again, as it started to dwindle in North Umbrig, it struck in Rivervue and Keller. Pretty soon, it was wandering all over the Kingdom, and no one felt that anywhere was safe.
In the midst of this panic, the Queen became pregnant again. Frantic with worry, she consulted every doctor and priest that she could find. None had anything of substance to tell her. Finally, a little old hunchback wandered into the court. He was a nomad priest of Cahool. He told the Queen that if she were to use the U. Z. H. P. and K. E. B. O., then her twin daughters would have a safe and healthy birth and would have some immunity against this strange plague.

Terrified for his family the king sent his 7 children to a nearby land free of the plaque. The queen decided to stay behind and support her husband. The nobles have sent both the wife and children into the nearby land. The children's godmother Lady Rosalind is caring for them currently. The poor population has only been able to send their youngest children. The king has been quarenting the sick and so far no one else has caught this.
