Welcome to Round 3! This round, you will become parents to one bouncing baby of your own. This round, I rolled a virtual 12 sided dice for each user and used their number to dictate what gender baby the’d be getting. Then, I followed this rubric:

Then, I collected six different sources for naming the baby. I rolled a virtual six sided dice for each user name and they were assigned that list in order to name their child. So, everything was random and nothing was hand-assigned by me, promise!
The winner of the wedding twist is gabriellagrace! gabriellagrace won because she was the only one who did the special wedding twist. If you would like to try to win a special thing for another round, be sure to do the Special Twist!!!!! Now, gabriellagrace can either A: Alter the gender of their baby of B: Choose their own name, not from the list. (BTW, I am playing! I randomly picked my storyline and I followed all rules everyone else did. I will not award myself the winning twist award-I PROMISE!)

SPECIAL TWIST: Your baby just would not come! For two weeks after your due date, you had no contractions and your baby showed no sign nor want to come out! You’re very against being induced, wanting to naturally start labor, so finally, you did something a little crazy-something that that one of your crazy family members suggested. They were right-an hour after doing their suggestion, whatever it was, you had contractions coming very quickly and rushed to the hospital! What did you do? Remember-be creative!!

It was unnexpected. We hadn't been trying; just letting nature take its course...
When I found out, I was quite surprised and moved. Me, having a baby! Two years ago, I wouldn't even have considered it, but now, I was surprisingly happy! Of course I told Marcus as soon as I was sure. He was taken aback for a while, but he finally came around to embrasing the idea. About the rest of the family, we decided we'd let them figure it out themselves!
Name clashes? Oh no! It was entirely up to me, as long as I passed the names by him and he agreed. We also wanted to honor both our families as well as have a pretty name for her, so, we decide on Zurine Nahia; White Desire. Zurine honors his mom, Blanche, and Nahia honors mine, Desirinda.
My birth experience? Lets just say that I'm not too keen on experiencing that any time soon!
As for life with little Zuri? Well, she's brought much joy into our lives - despite all the responsibilities and sleepless nights that accompany infants.

Kinda, because hey I've heard people try for a long time before they have a child. So we decided to start early.
How did you tell your husband?
I just went up to him one day (like I did when I told him I loved him) and said "uhh, honey. I'm..." then he finished it with me, "Pregnant." I was surprised but then I promptly threw up after. And thankfully he knew why this time so he wasn't to worried.

Oh the joys of having a baby! She's great! I just love having her around. She's a bit cranky right now but she's mostly calm.
The first few days of parenthood was hard because she was so little and we didn't want to break her. And also we didn't really know what to do.So it was hecktic but it was fun! :D

After only about 3 months of marriage, I find out I'm pregnant! It was a total shock since we weren't trying. I called William at work to tell him, he was so surprised! We were both so happy, we knew we wanted more children from the start! We both sat Gabe down and told him he was going to be a big brother! He didn't really understand at first, but it finally sank in for him and he was definetely excited!
I gave my parents little baby shoes that had a note attached that said "Congrats, Grandparents!" They were thrilled as well.
We were on edge about finding ou the gender. We decided to find out, but keep it a surprise! We planned on keeping the name a surprise too!
When it came to names, William and I had completely different tastes! He liked more popular names like Emily, Alexandra, ect. While I liked more traditional names like Victoria, Charlotte, ect. We compromised, and I picked out the first name while he picked out the middle. I picked Charlotte, because it was one of my favorites and William did seem to like it. Rosa was his grandmother's middle name who had meant a lot to him.
We both agreed we really wanted to have a natural childbirth. So when after two weeks the baby wouldn't come, we had to get creative. My crazy mother suggested that I do some exercising! I personally thought she was crazy! I, a woman 42 weeks pregnant, was NOT going to be seen in public exercising! She suggested that I use and old exercise tape. I decided that I'd TRY, knowing it wouldn't work. i pulled out my old "aerobic dance party!" tape and put it in. I was exausted when it was over, but it worked! An our after, I went into labor!
Since we decided against pain-killers during the birth, it was very painful! But well worth it! Charlotte Rose Ellison was born happy and healthy! We are now a happy family of 4! Gabe adores his little sister! We are all thrilled about our new addition to the family!

I felt like a barely knew Tony before I got pregnant with Ray. It was very unexpected. When I told Tony I showed him the test and cryed. We weren't ready for a baby. He was suprised but kept his cool and told me everything would be alright. We flew to Alaska for Thanksgiving, and planned to tell them on Thanksgiving. But after two days there Gammy asked Tony if I was pregnant. She said the sky spirits told her!She was very happy and took it upon herself to tell everyone! So by Thanksgiving everyone knew. Grace (Tony's Mom) was also very excited. She always wanted a grandchild. At first Tony's dad, Joe, was still very unhappy that I married his son, but when he found out it was a girl he was happy. She melted his heart before she was even born. No real name clashes, except with Gammy, who wanted Sky Angel. But I could not agree to that. After a fairly easy pregnancy i felt like it was time for Ray to come out. But unfortunatly for me; she disagreed. After two weeks of being overdue Gammy made a suggestion she said I should run around the apartment 10 times naked. Of course at first I didn't want to do it, because it made me feel stupid, but after doing everything else the doctor suggested she still didn't come. So finally I decided to do it. I closed all the windows and the door and started running. Tony stood there laughing at me, but not too long after I started having pains. Tony took me to the hospital and a few hours later Rachel finally was born. Truthfully, it was the most horrific thing that ever happened to me. It hurt SO much. The family got there just an hour after she was born, in time for Gammy to say "I told you so!". The family wanted to stay for a month, I did not object, however Tony did and they ended up staying for two weeks. When they left I still had 3 more weeks of maternity left, so I was forced to stay home with her by myself.

She melted his heart before she was even born. No real name clashes, except with Gammy, who wanted Sky Angel. But I could not agree to that. After a fairly easy pregnancy i felt like it was time for Ray to come out. But unfortunatly for me; she disagreed. After two weeks of being overdue Gammy made a suggestion she said I should run around the apartment 10 times naked. Of course at first I didn't want to do it, because it made me feel stupid, but after doing everything else the doctor suggested she still didn't come. So finally I decided to do it. I closed all the windows and the door and started running. Tony stood there laughing at me, but not too long after I started having pains. Tony took me to the hospital and a few hours later Rachel finally was born. Truthfully, it was the most horrific thing that ever happened to me. It hurt SO much. The family got there just an hour after she was born, in time for Gammy to say "I told you so!". The family wanted to stay for a month, I did not object, however Tony did and they ended up staying for two weeks. When they left I still had 3 more weeks of maternity left, so I was forced to stay home with her by myself.

LAst year we were on our vacation to Ireland. When we got back home we started talking about children. When would we start trying for one? We decided to wait two months and then start trying. And guess what, I got pregnant on our first try! Beginner's luck? I wanted to tell Oskar in some funny way that I was pregnant so I wrote "Hola Papi, see you in September" on my belly. At first he didn't understand. After a while I could see that he understood and he was smiling like never before!
Thre pregnancy went well and at one of our ultrasounds we were told that we were having a boy. We agreed on the name Alexander. I've always loved it and Oskar were fine with it too. However, babay Alexander wouldn't come. I was two weeks over due and extremely tired of being pregnant. I wanted to see my baby boy! We got some suggestions how we could start the contractions, but nothing did work. Finally my aunt told me the "perfect contraction starter". I didn't believe her. She told me that I had to eat a whole lemon and then stand on my hands. I thought she was joking. How in the world could I stand on my hands with his huge belly?! But I tried, and got some help from Oskar. An hour after the contraction started. I almost fell out of mu chair when I got the first one and I thought "what was that? The baby or a contraction?". I didn't tell Oskar first, but after a couple of minutes with more contractions I told him. Everything was going fast and I was rushed to the hospital. After 40 minutes at the hospital our beutiful baby boy was born. Alexander Christian was now a part of our growing family.

We welcomed our son River Salem Prince on April 14. We were trying for a baby and were successful :). I bought a little outfit that said "I love my daddy", and put it in a bag as a present for Tony. He was so shocked, and happy when he found out. We did the same thing for our parents, but with grandparents on them. We kept going back in forth on if we wanted to find out the gender, in the end we had to find out we just couldn't wait. I liked more out there names, and he seemed somewhat hesitant with those types, but was in the end one over. He now loves unusual names.
I gave birth to Rio (as we sometimes call him) at home in water. Overall it was a lovely experience, but very painful! I thought I wasn't going to be able to handle it, but I did. Tony, and a midwife were there with me surrounded by family. Tony delivered River, and cut the cord. River was born at 12:30 PM on April 14th weighing in at 8 lbs even, and 20 inches long.
We decided on the name River because it's been my favorite name for a very long time. We gave him two middle names because we couldn't decide which one to use! Salem comes from our love of the Bible, we took it as a short version of Jerusalem, and Prince because he's our little prince!
River is such a good baby, he's so cute. He rarely cries unless he's hungry or tired. He loves to play with his favorite toy a little boat we got him. He is breastfeeding wonderfully, and we use cloth diapers for him. I also make organic baby food.

After Jack and I got back from our honeymoon, we talked about children right away. We decided to just be married for six months and then think about kids again. When our six month anniversary came around, we knew we were ready to take the plundge and try for our first baby! Lucky us-I took a pregnancy test after our first try and it came out positive!
That night, I cooked his favorite dinner, lobster, It takes forever to make, so he knows that I am in a good mood when I make it for him. As he sat down to eat (I HATE lobster, so I had a lovely salad), I made a comment about how, this time next year, a crying three month old would prevent me from making it for him, would that be okay? He jumped and and hugged and kissed me all over, then knelt down and started rubbing my belly and telling Baby how much he loved him/her. It was so sweet!
To tell our families, we went to my parents house with all my family for dinner that Friday. He brought two gift bags and said at dessert that they were thank you gifts to my parents for hosting the dinner. They opened them to find “I love my (Grandma or Grandpa” with a picture of our first ultrasound wrapped up inside! We told Jack’s parents the next night the same way and everyone was just so thrilled!
We wanted to find out the gender, so, when the time came, I nervously went to the doctor’s appointment with him. I had a strong feeling we were having a girl, but didn’t want to say anything. Jack was sure that it was a girl and very loud about it. So, when the doctor said “It’s a girl!” we both screamed so loudly and smiled proudly at our daughter’s image. We even already knew her name (we’d been in aggrement since we’d started dating). Jack and I said together “Our little Lindsey Joy!” It was a great moment and I was a happy Mommy, as was Jack a happy Daddy!
I was 42 weeks pregnant, HUGE, and very umcomfertable and Lindsey just didn’t want to come out!
