John and I have had an eventful five years! We spent the first year getting settled and adjusted to married life, then the next here, Jonathan Junior arrived. We decied to call him Jack. After him, we were ready for another child...but we didn't plan on twins! Anyway, the girls are fraternal and both are beautiful. This year, we welcomed our youngest, Thomas.
Jack and the girls both are enrolled in the preschool at the church we attend. John and I are trying to teach Jack to read early, so he'll be ahead of the game. We think he's going to be a baseball fanatic, he already loves to play.

I married a wonderful man named Ashley Pace 5 years ago, and we now have 3 beautiful children, Nicholas, a strapping young lad of 5, and Cornelia and Amalia, my sweet girls, both 2 years old. We have moved to the young town of Seattle, in the state of Washington. It is a wild place here, but Ash is determined to be a successful architect. There are certainly plenty of building opportunities here! Nicky wants to be a "lumberjack" when he grows up. He loves the timber trains that come into downtown with their steel and steam.

David works for an aging neighbor who can no longer take care of his own small farm, and they have built a small but cozy cottage next to the main house. Opal takes in washing and mending work when she can; she has been very busy having and caring for their three daughters; Ruby Iris was born December 26th, 1900, just six months after they were married, Hazel Grace arrived January 2nd, 1902, and Ivy Pearl followed on January 2nd, 1904.

George and Anna have been married for 5 years now. In 1900 the Joossens's had they first child, a son; Harry Matthew Joossens. Harry was a healthy baby boy. But, unfortuneally, Harry's twin sister Abigail died at birth. This was a big upset for the Joossens. They did not know if they could have more children. But, two years later they had their second child, this time a baby girl. Eve Rosemary nickname Evie. She is a very healthy little girl. George and Anna were so happy that they had two healthy and beautiful babies, that they decided to have more children. In 1902 Simon Theodore Joossens was born. Simon looked just like his father, George. Arthur Nicholas Joossens was born a year latter. Arthur was named after Anna's grandfather because Arthur was born on the day that her grandfather died. One year later, Anna gave birth to baby girl twins! They were so excited that they both lived and were healthy. There was some troubles, but because of todays medicine they lived. And the Joossens welcome Gemma Katherine and Rosalie Helena.

They had no idea they were expecting quads! 12th September 1901 Esther, Thomas, Edward and Joseph were born.
James and Leora thought they were done with children after the quads but faith wanted them otherwise. First of January 1903 their daughter Edith was born.
Two and a half years later their son Henry were born (June 16th).
After Edith and Henry was born, Leora and James feel like they aren't done with children. They hope that they one day will have more children. Thomas and Edward really want more brothers and Rowena want more sisters!

In 1902, Dora became a big sister to Betty and Nora (Feburary 9th). Robert was a bit disapointed to have had three girls, but the family was still happy and stable.
Their first son was born, Walter (June 7th) . He is a good little boy who is loved by his older sisters. The attention left him in November 22nd 1904 when his sister Marianne was born, named for their French aunt.
The family thought they had enough children, when suddenly they were blessed with twins again (October 10th 1905), and Robert was very pleased with another son, who he named after his favourite brother Simon. His twin sister Joan Louise was a very small baby, but she is doing well.

These last 5 years have been a bit chaotic. After Charlie and I got married, it wasn't too long before I was pregnant. Jack, our eldest, is five now. My, how quickly they grow! He absolutely idolizes his father and follows him everywhere; he hates the idea of having to go to school next year. Jack is also very protective of his younger siblings, especially his baby sister.
Charlie, our middle child, is four. We weren't meaning to have another baby so soon after Jack, but we can't imagine life without him now. Charlie is somewhat quieter than his brother, but can also be very energetic and lively.

They still live in the same small town they grew up in. Jack would love to travel the US, but Mary is content to stay where things are familiar. Jack just finished up medical school and is starting a practice in town. Mary is staying at home, but helps her mother run her family's general store.

John Michael Bartlett Jr. was born May 15, 1901. His younger brother, Matthew Benjamin Bartlett was born ten months later-on March 2, 1902. Jack and Mary's first daughter, Delilah Rose Bartlett was born February 19, 1904. Their third son, Reuben Moses Bartlett was born almost a year later, on December 1, 1904. Their last child, Elisabeth Hope Bartlett, was born just a few weeks ago, on July 23, 1905.
Jack, now 30, loves being a father to his children. He enjoys playing games with them and teaching them. He hasn't changed much in the five years that he and Mary have been married. He has the same tall muscular build, scruffy dark brown hair, and mischevious green eyes. He enjoys helping people. Jack also enjoys being outdoors and will often take long rides on his black gelding, Cobalt, when he is not busy.

Minoru and Lilja both converted to Christianity when they first moved to America. Because of this they named their first child after one of their favorite people in the Bible, Moses, and George after their next door neighbor/doctor who helped Lilja with the delivery.
Nathanael was again taken from the Bible and Clarence was the name of the husband of the midwife who helped Lilja give birth (are you seeing a trend?, lol). George, the doctor who gave birth to Moses, moved away before this baby was born.
Priscilla was taken from the Bible and Harriet was the name of their midwife (the same one who helped give birth to Nathanael).
So, Minoru and Lilja wanted their children's names to be extremely American and not necessarily reflect their past heritages. They believe that their children are born and true Americans so they do not feel the need to remind them of where their parents came from. The parents names will do that by themselves.

They were born September 1, 1902, almost a month and a half before they were due. We were quite tired after the arrival of twins and Nathan and Daniel, so we waited a couple years before we had another child.
