Re: Meanings of two african names

Tsion looks like Tzion, which is "Zion" in Hebrew, if I remember correctly. I don't know if it's connected, but...Array

Get into the car
We'll be the passenger
We'll ride through the city tonight
See the city's ripped insides
We'll see the bright and hollow sky
We'll see the stars that shine so bright
The sky was made for us tonight

My 2 (euro)cents: Could be Zion, given the Ethiopian's belief that they are a lost tribe of Israel. After all, the full title of H.I.M. Haile Selassie included "conquering lion of Judea". The Rastafarians followed on this, hence their bizarre preoccupation with "everything Zion". As the great Bob Marley sand, "Iron like a lion in Zion".
