Petra's Street Names Congrats - Sign Ups
I don't typically frequent the games board, but I often think that street names are pretty cool, and I thought it might be fun to use them to create namebanks in a congrats. So...I decided to create one.
Rules: I'll leave sign-ups open indefinitely (or until the number of participants is high enough that I feel it may become overwhelming to keep track of everyone; I will let everyone know if I think this number is in danger of being reached). I won't drop you unless you request to be dropped. If you don't feel that you can keep up, though, please do me the courtesy of either posting a comment to any thread for this game or sending me a private message to let me know.
I will try to post a round a day. Currently I plan on running 10 rounds, though if enough people are interested, I am open to extending the game beyond that. Regardless, this will probably go no more than 15 rounds total. I will use a random number generator to determine the gender and number of children you have each round; multiples will only be possible every third round.
Namebanks will be provided for each round (one for boys, one for girls), though they will be more for convenience than anything else. You are not limited to the names in the namebank; I will also post a list of all streets in each round's city, which you may select from. In the namebanks, I will include the most "name-like" street names on this list (I may miss some or pass over some that are borderline, however, so I would suggest looking it over). So, for example, while "95th" may technically be an acceptable name to use in a given round, I will not include it in the namebank, as I do not expect that many people would want to use it. If I list a name under one gender and not the other, you may switch it if you like; I will sort the names according to gender based on how they are usually used or how I would expect them to be used, but if you want to switch it up, feel free.
Sign-Ups:
For the sign-ups, please choose your family's last name and the first and middle names of SO1 and SO2 using street names from your own hometown (if you're not sure, choose the location that, if pressed, you most consider to be your hometown). (If you cannot find a list of street names, I would suggest browsing Google maps.) You may change SO1 and SO2 to DH, DW, Dbf, Dgf, etc. if you would like.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask me in your sign-up post or drop me a PM! Have fun!

I'm open to any number of multiples.

You should also try city around the world. Not just the USA. I'm not sure if it would work, but it's a thought. Such cities as Athens, Moscow, London...
