Rules:
1. Since it's KUY and attempting to be relatively fast-moving, I won't drop unless it becomes obvious you've abandoned the game (four rounds in a row missed or so.) If you're going to miss multiple rounds please let me know.
2. Ages are required. I'll provide how many years have gone by and a template so you can see what ages everyone is supposed to be.
3. Each member of the royal family must have AT LEAST two middle names. Stories are greatly encouraged.

Prompt: Two years after the birth of the first royal child, and another is born. If you need a specific gender for an heir, you get the OPPOSITE gender; if you already have the gender or don’t need a specific gender, free choice. The kingdom again celebrates, thankful for a fertile royal couple as well as one that is increasing in popularity. At thesame time, another member of the royal family (a sibling/cousin/other relative of the ruler) attracts positive attention in some way. The ruler has spent his/her first years in power making only relatively small, generally-popular changes and projects. Again, she/he decides to use the high public mood to announce a larger change/project that he/she knows will be controversial but that she/he believes in. What is this change? Is the happiness over the royal birth and whatever the ruler's relative did enough that the public accepts it? What about the advisors? One of the new royal baby's names is related to the parent of the same gender, and one other is related to the kingdom in some way (after a historical figure, key city, industry, etc.)

After two years, Queen Alda gave birth to healthy Princess Cassandra. Members of the kingdom are thankful for another baby, though King James worries he may not have a son. Soon after, the kingdom again rejoices at the marriage of Prince Tristan Alexander Yannick (26) to a noblewoman named Annette Jane Marie (15). King James has also been debating for a while on the country's military. He would like to make it required for men to join for a certain amount of time. However, he worries the people will not like this. His brother Tristan, however, edges him to do it, and he trusts his brother's judgement. Now, all men must join the military from the time they are 21 until they are 40, with some exceptions. Most people are angry with this law, but King James wants his kingdom and family safe.

Prince William Matthew Carlo Jeremiah was a healthy baby, and was named for many important people. Following tradition of Nicklas' family, the Prince was given Nicklas' middle name, William, and Charlotte's father's middle name, Matthew. The name Carlo was given for Carlo Weshbun, the founder of the country of Weshbun. Jeremiah was the name of Charlotte's grandfather, who passed away when Charlotte was only seven years old. The kingdom is happy for the royal couple and celebrate with a two-day carnival. After all, they knew how important it was for males to be born into the royal family. Prince Robert was recently married to his long-time betrothed Princess Amalia of the kingdom of Huswing, a kingdom bordering Weshbun to the north. It was a match that was perfect for those living in Northern Weshbun, who had problems with the Husian people for decades. This match should bring peace to the two kingdoms for many, many years to come.
Not only has this move been greatly appreciated by the Weshian citizens, but also all the small changes Queen Charlotte and King Nicklas have been pushing through the kingdom. They were all little things, just the repairing of roads and churches, planting of community gardens as well. All little things, but enough so that there would be surplus to have come winter this year, and to have many of the poverty stricken working as well. For years, though, there has been talk of Weshbun opening it's own university. The kingdom always only had small schools for children, and those who excelled in their studies had to apply to the Queen to be determined if they were allowed to study in the University of Adalon, in the country just to the south of Weshbun.

Two years later, the happy queen and king gave birth to another daughter. She was named Siriva to honor the king's older, dead sister, Sarova, though all will call her Siri. Her middle name honors her mother and her Quema heritage. Though some in the kingdom prefer male heirs, females are always allowed to inherit.
The King's late brother's wife, Princess Vela was recently added into the Royal Council. Vela comes from a very popular noble family in Highcourt, the Varrions, after which the royal city is named. Her appointment made many nobles quite happy, as if her husband hadn't died, she would have been queen. However, since he and his sister did, the position passed to Adair.
The King has tried recently to allow women to inherit land from their fathers. It is allowed that daughters become queens over their brothers, so why shouldn't women be allowed to inherit over their brothers if they are older? Adair decides to start with this change in the noble families to see if it has support.

Two years after the birth of Princess Madeleine the kingdom of Aria once more celebrated the arrival of a Princess. Princess Charlotte named for her mother she was given Ariane as one of her middle names in honour of the kingdom.
Another celebrated took place this year when King Robert's sister the Princess Juliette married the eldest son of the King and Queen of England Prince Edward Henry. The kingdom of Aria were delighted that one of their own would one day become Queen of England and of course the marriage provided a very powerful alliance between the two great countries.
So far in his reign King Robert has proved to be a fair and just ruler and has done much to improve the lives of his people. Ensuring everyone should be given an education so even the poor might have a chance to improve their future prospects. Although in the long term this is of great benefit to his people the country is in some debate over this move as taxes have had to be increased to fund this venture.

This sort of event was extremely rare to the royal family. The people of the queendom loved witnessing this occasion, since it was something that may never happen again. All of the little girls of the queendom could now hope to marry a prince, thanks to Marcelina's marriage.
Meanwhile, the commotion over Mariana's birth was dying down. Queen Liviana announced that she would allow women to become royal advisors. Even in the queendom, most of the court and advisors were men, and women had never been allowed to be an advisor to the queen. This was the only way that men would allow the only ruler to be a queen. Liviana knew she would be criticized, but hoped that her change to the court would end up being for the best. Most of the commonpeople (especially women) liked the change. But in the court there were whispered talks of overthrowing Queen Liviana and putting Marcelina on the throne, as they believe this change to be against the law.
