The Chevalier & Sweet Families

There is more drama happening in the Chevalier family. When KC and Andrea announced that their daughter was named Swan Esme, Esme was thrilled. And then Andrea made a point of telling Esme (in front of everybody at the welcome home party for little Swan) that the Swan's name was in no way meant to honor Esme, whose name wasn't even Esme but just had that as a nickname. Instead, little Swan Esme's name was in honor of her favorite series of books, Twilight. The total lack of respect upset Esme so much (especially when her father told her that Andrea was right and her name was NOT Esme and she shouldn't be such a "drama queen") that she now refuses to go back to her father's.

Ruby is upset over the behavior also. She can see that Andrea's biggest concern is that she has a name that is unique and not a ripoff of a name of KC's older daughter... but her behavior towards young Esme was rude and disrespectful. And KC's lack of compassion toward Esme was even worse!

To make matters worse, KC and Andrea are packing up to leave town. They just don't feel like anybody around town "gets them", and the drama over baby Swan's name makes that even more obvious. They hear that the community of people in Eugene, Oregon is just their sort of people. They can't wait, and want to be there in time to go to the Oregon Country Fair, which Andrea has a costume ready for! They've talked Rand into joining them, but have purposly ignored Esme. Kai and Summer are younger, and more responsibility then they want (Rand can, after all, help out with chores!). In the end, Rand agrees to go, and the 4 of them move to Eugene, Oregon.

Less then a year later, Andrea is pregnant once again. Once again they want to combine KC's passion for wild and masculine word-names with Andrea's passion for the Twilight series and come up with a FN/MN that they both love.

Butler and Chelsea aren't married yet, but they now have a son together. They don't feel ready to get married, but do plan on staying together to raise their son. Lark is almost done with high school, and has managed to put little Basil first while still keeping on the honor roll. Ina and Isaiah have had some normal ups and downs, but seem to be holding steady. And now, Sirius is dating a girl. Her FN is a common "smushed" name, but reversed (ex. instead of Brooklynn, her name would be Lynnbrook - instead of Maryanne, her name would be Annemary). Sebastian and Alice are in love with little Ella, and are growing to think of Iris as their own. Da'rell and Iris are trying hard to be good parents, and trying hard to complete their last year of school. Things are tight for the Nagy family, but Sebastian refuses to allow Da'rell or Iris to get a job. He wants them both to concentrate on their last year of high school. A month after little Ella was born, Iris' parents finally caved in and came to see Iris. At first, they tried to bully Iris into bringing the baby and moving back in with them... and, of course, never seeing Da'rell again. Iris was having none of it. She explained that Da'rell and her were thinking of getting married in the fall. This scared Iris' parents (as she knew it would) into relenting. They've agreed that if Iris and Da'rell continue to do well in school, get into college in the fall, do NOT marry until after college, and have no more children until (if) they get married, that they will help support them and pay for their college education. It was all Iris had hoped for, and she readily agreed. Da'rell was a little stunned, and so were Sebastian and Alice. But they are all happy with the outcome.

Pippin has a boyfriend. She was very hesitant to tell her parents though, after what happened with Da'rell. In the end, she had to so that she could go to a big dance with him. Sebastian and Alice are fairly happy with the young man... and have explained a few things to Pippin that they didn't think of doing with Da'rell. Pippin's BF's FN is a "regular-guy/good-guy" name that has a simple/relaxed nickname AND was more popular 20 years ago then it was today. His MN is Celtic (anglicized or not, it's up to you).

Oakley has dumped Xachary after she found him cheating on her. She now has a new BF. He is just as dense, as much of a bully, as self-centered, and a delinquent as Xachary ever was. His FN was NOT popular/trendy, but is spelled kre8tivly with at least one "y" or "x" or "z". His MN is filler (maybe spelled kre8tivly also, maybe not).
