Another Kingdom Congrats Round 7

Five years have passed since the war, and Kriana is beginning to become a prosperous land once again. After showing it could withstand such a trial, the kingdom gained a new respect among the nearby nations, and trade and foreign interaction flourished, bringing new ideas and goods into the country. There is still a long way to go, but Kriana is blossoming once again. The last five years have been busy ones for the Queen and her royal children, and the biggest celebration the kingdom has seen has just been announced as the crown princess has just married.

How are things faring for your family since peacetime? How has the marriage of the eldest child and the betrothal of the second affected the family? Are they happy with the new members of the family? Describe the new spouse/betrothed. Where did they come from and how did they meet their new spouse/intended?

The last five years have been the most peaceful of Ari's adult life. Though still active in diplomacy, she has given up active spying for good. Her position as a trainer in the army has allowed her and Nicholas both to spend much more time with their children as well as the children of Ari's siblings. Ari found she enjoyed the work, training the young recruits in the arts of disguise and observation, concealment and manipulation. She has several very promising new recruits, not the least of which is her young niece Niobe.

While things have been prosperous to the Waterside Family there have also been many changes. During the summer trips to the Isle of Apple Kalli fell in love. It was with her fathers blessing that she married Fáelán who is a high lord of the land. Kalli now spends all of her time on the Isle of Apple and is missed by her mother and siblings.

Lysander has been given a prospective wife. He is not very happy and even more upset is the sidekick brother Ariston. Lady Eudoxia is from across the Krianan border and Lysander views her as beautiful but also foreign and horrifying.

Zoe & Zeph ever the two powerful have drawn much attention to their growing powers. They are the most sought out mages for water training. The two have master all water level spells and are quiet adept at healing that they sometimes study under the healers.

Erasmos is his mothers helper and dutiful to her. While Charis is hoping and dreaming that she will get to marry a prince.

The past five years have alternated between difficulty and peace for the Rey-Anson family. Hermione remains the Arch-Mage, and between advising her sister, completing her Arch-Mage duties, and taking care of her children, her time is completely taken up. As such, William spends more time with the children, splitting their time between their country estate and their apartments at Court.

The Kingdom has been fairly quiet for the last few years, which the royal family has been grateful for. Minnie has been focusing more on training Chloe and her new husband Jon so that they can make the best decisions possible.

Chloe was engaged to Jon three years ago, he is the second son of a old family that Minnie picked out. The pair have been slowly getting to know each other and are now friends but are not attracted to each other in the slightest. Chloe has come to accept her responsibility and has been trying to get as much of her medicinal magic training done as possible before she has to take the throne. Jon is even more quiet than his new wife, he doesn't talk a whole lot and when he does he mutters but he is an excellent writer.

Helene has gotten engaged to a foreigner she met while she was tending to horses down at the stables. The pair got along very well for the past two years, though Lady Augusta was more than a little shocked when she found out that she was friends with a Princess, and started dating secretely just eight months ago. Helene asked her Mother if it was alright that she was in love with Lady Augusta and Minnie, a bit shocked at first, was supportive of Helene and even started paying her daughter for her position as stablehand. Helene used that money to buy Augusta a ring and asked her Father for her hand in marriage. Augusta's family was less enthusiastic at first but are slowly growing fond of Helene.

I just noticed...

I just noticed that in Round 2 when we had our second daughter, Helene Catherine Sophia was my daughter and Leda Roberta Eunomia was your daughter. Did we switch names on purpose, or was that an accident? Kind of funny!

Uh-oh...

That was probably me putting the wrong name in the wrong place when I was copying them into the Word file where I keep this game. I just copy the new children from the post and paste them in the family, and I must have accidently mixed you two up.. My fault! You two can switch if you would prefer.

Five years later, the Magro family were living quite happily. Just after she turned sixteen, Dora approached her mother nervously and confided a secret she had long kept: she had entertained a crush on a werewolf who had recently arrived in town. Alvise Aiolfi was a quiet and shy young man, and Dora had found a close companionship with him. A year after Dora admitted to her crush, it was Alvise who approached her father, stuttering and quite frightened. He had meant to ask for Dora's hand in marriage, something the entire family found apparent, and Romolo finally decided to spare him the nerve-wracking and give the answer before the question was even properly asked. Alvise was very relieved, the jitterbug he had became soon dissolved as his fears were consoled, and the following spring the Magros celebrated the marriage of their eldest.
