I was checking this analysis page, for no particular reason, typing in names, I type in
Isis, then all of a sudden I see 6 boys were named
Isis (Or some other spelling variation) in 2001, and 6 boys were named
Isis in 2006. I also noticed when a name gains some popularity only by a little, the default number tends to be 5, or 6. For some reason I find it very hard to believe 12 boys in the US were named
Isis. I could imagine
Iris on a boy, but even then
Isis and
Iris seem feminine through and through. Could somebody explain why is this?
