My name is Scianda (pronounced sigh-and-a). I know that it has been Americanized by my mother, and I believe that it was spelled Scienda before. It is my great-great (and maybe a few more greats, I don't know) grandmother's name. I have been told that it is Welsh, but I am starting to not believe that as I have never found it or anything like it in any searches that I have done. I am looking forward to finding any information about my name.
