I have recently asked about the name Aidric. Now I have a question on its usage. Was the name Aidric or even Aldric (any name Aidric derived from) commonly used during the Medieval times? I was told this name belonged to a Medieval saint. I was just curious if back then this name was commonly used? If it was not commonly used back then was atleast known of? Or was its only usage belong to the Saint?
