Noelle
At 13 for my confirmation name I chose "Noelle" because Noel means Christmas so I thought that it would be appropriate, plus I liked the name. I realize that it's supposed to be a Saint's Name but no one really asked.... soooo, then I stumbled upon the fact that there was an actual saint called NOEL... but, no clue who he was... does anyone know?

St. Noel
Feastday: September 26Noel was born on February 2 near Mende, France. He joined the Jesuits in 1630 and in 1643 was sent as a missionary to the Huron Indians in France. He became assistant to Father Charles Garnier at the Indian village of Etarita in 1649 and was murdered on December 8 by an apostate Indian while returning from a visit to neighboring Ste. Marie. He was canonized in 1930 by Pope Pius XI as one of the martyrs of North America. His feast day is September 26th.From http://saints.catholic.org/saints/noel.html
