Lisa
There are Lisa babies still being born in the US and that's nice. I went to school with an Elisabeth that went by Lisa which I liked since this was an 80s baby so not trending. Wdyt of Lisa? Do you know any?

I remember thinking it was really beautiful when I was a child. I made up a character who was called Lisa Turpin, went to school with Harry Potter, and was very distantly related to Dick Turpin. I don't like it much anymore.

I love the name Lisa and always have; it's such a pretty and spunky name. I mainly know of women called Lisa who are 30-50 years old, though I did attend school with a Lysa (pronounced the same way, and she is my age). I'd definitely call a daughter Lisa; I like the name that much. I've never really encountered Lisa being used as a nickname, except for by my 8th grade math teacher (whose first name was Elizabeth, respectively).

I've known lots of Lisas. None that are actually Elizabeth though. A few years ago I heard a woman telling a little girl who looked about three "Lisa Maria, will you calm down!" I thought Lisa Maria was so pretty.

It's breezy and simple, which are not qualities I favor in names. I definitely prefer it to Beth and Liz.

Not bad, but I prefer other nn forms of Elizabeth and would therefore use Elizabeth and let the nn choose itself.

Nice, it's lovely and the youngest I know is a teen

It’s funny, it was such a popular name and yet I’ve never met a Lisa. I did know an Annalisa though.Lisa is so simple yet there’s something special about it. It’s bright like sunshine and intelligent sounding.

My piano teacher is named Lisa, but she’s from the era when it was #1. I think it’s a pretty name and is bound to remain a classic.
