Harlow/Harlo for a boy!

Hi guys!

My partner and I have agreed on Harlow/Harlo for our boy that's due this year!

We know people will say its a girl name because of Nicole Richie but it was originally a boy name and I loved it before she used it!

We love the spelling Harlow but think Harlo looks more masculine and won't be ignorantly looked at as a girls name.

His name will be Harlow Jack Maxwell.

What are your thoughts?

I think Harlow is definitely more of a boys name. I would go with the spelling Harlow because Harlo looks incomplete and people might spell it wrong. Harlow Jack Maxwell sounds good, although I think Harlow Maxwell Jack flows better.

I do think of Harlow as a girls name, but that's more because I have a friend with a daughter called Harlow - if she'd had a boy and called him Harlow I probably wouldn't think of it as a girls name.

I don't like Harlo, it looks unfinished.

Harlow Jack Maxwell looks / sounds very handsome!

Is Maxwell the surname? If not, I might reconsider either Jack or Maxwell, because I am getting JAK MAKswell-- rhyming. If it doesn't bother you, though, then, okay.

I actually really like Harlow for a boy. Arlo is good too but I prefer Harlow.

Harlo looks weird to me; I don't like this spelling very much.

Both Harlow Jack and Harlow Maxwell are very nice imo.
