hi every one,
my name was initially mehwish,then in 9th grade i cj=hanged it into Mahwish,caz some one told me there is no name mehwish(and its meaning came in bear bottle) the right name is Mahwish which means "piece of moon" or "like a moon")now confusion again arises that some one said its not basically Mahwish its Mahwush....can somebody heklp,and tell me the exact meaning

My name is MAHWISH ,by taking part in this opinion i wanna say that when i read this confusion that name MAHWISH is correct or MAHWUSH than i search for it n came to know that there no name such as MAHWUSH , it is MAHWISH and right name is MAHWISH and exact meaning of MAHWISH is "piece of moon" or "part of moon"

Well i think Mahwish is the right, my dad named and he calls me Mahwish not Mahwush.

The right one is Mehwish believe me and dont go others sugesstions just go for only that for which your heart says and keep enjoying and keep loving people and always be happy take care . . . you might be thinking, why i answered you, so the reason is that this name Mehwish means a lot to me. . . well never mind take care ALLAH HAFIZ

hi its mehwish lol believe i shud knw my name is mehwish too ;)mah means moon but the name mehwish means chand sa so it is pronounced mehwish thats how u say it. When u ad the ish suffix (ending)to ma it changes to meh sound i e mehwish ;) hope that hepled ok byeee

Hiya its Mehwish...hehehe...yeah duh! Well, concerning the meaning of the name. I've always been told that it means 'Chand sa jehra'. Apparently, the meaning comes close to the meaning of the name Mehjabeen, however I'm not very sure about that though...

its Mahwish... my name is Mahwish too. many paki people think its Mehwish, why? i really dont know! Mahwish is a persian name, and people who studied the persian language know that its Mahwish. And it means 'chaand ka tukra'
