Re: what do shadon means

Well I found a couple mentions of shadon.
1. Shadon beni (literally "false cilantro") is a dark green, thumb-shaped, sawtooth-edged herb with a taste similar to cilantro. Shadon beni is an herb found in Trinidad. http://www.dvo.com/recipe_pages/grilln/Grilled_Corn_With_Shadon_Beni_Butter.html
2. hmmm I also found mention of Shadon Scottland and Irland. And Shadon seems to be a surname mainly so my guess is that the people who lived in Shadon where either named after the place they lived, or the place was named after someone named Shadon because they were Thane or something of that area or the Shadon's did something great to have an area named after them, you know something like that. And I also found a few people who had the first name Shadon. My guess is that people heard the surname Shadon, they liked it alot and named their child that as a first name. That has happened with a lot of names like Mackenzie which was originally a surname but lately alot of people have had Mackenzie as a first name. But this is guess work so I'm not certain, and I couldn't find the meaning, maybe someone else will.
