Marielle and Oliver can hardly believe that it's already been two years since Barrett was born! The time has passed so quickly. For the most part, Rhett is as calm and sweet-tempered as ever, perfectly content to play quietly or watch his favorite movie, Finding Nemo. Everyone is so excited to meet the new baby, who will be arriving soon! Marielle and Oliver have two names picked out already.. if it's a girl, she will be Ellen Joy - Ellen after Oliver's mother who passed away when he was in high school, and Joy, because that's what she would bring even more of into their lives.. and if the baby is another boy, he will be named Alexander Nathan.

The Conwen houshold has been pretty calm these days... Kate quit her publishing job to be a stay at home mommy after she found out she was pregnant with her second (which she, Wallace, and Nick are extremely excited about!). Wallace is still enjoying his medical career. Nick, who is now a big two year old, is content indoors, but when you bring him outside, he immediatley is asking "Where Baketball?" He loves basketball, especially when Daddy is home and able to play with him! Nick is also a very talkative child. He is already in a playgroup and loves it. He is friends with their family of neighbors: Anna (24), Caleb (26), and Nolan, who is two, the perfect age to play with Nick! They play great together, and both have the talkative manner- always babbaling on about something, often at the same time. Anna and Caleb are thinking about having another child, and are very excited for Kate and Wallace. Everyone loves how things are going at the moment!

Emily and I now know first-hand what the "terrible twos" means. Our little Gabriel cannot seem to sit still for two minutes; he is always up and about. He usually enjoys running around, so we take him to the park to play. I'm already trying to teach him the great sport of football and even got him a Nerf football, which he loves and takes everywhere.
And we just found out we're expecting again! It was certainly a surprise, but we are absolutely delighted and cannot wait to meet our new son or daughter. Gabriel wants a little brother, but he said that a little sister "would be all right too."

Expecting again! Nic and I don't want to find out the sex of the baby until it is born. If it's a boy we plan on naming him Elliot Jeffery. Elliot was a very good friend of ours who passed away 3 months ago due to cancer. Jeffery is the last name of my good friend and her family. If a girl we will call her Rose Samantha. Rose is Nic's grandmothers name and Samantha is a family name on my side plus we have a couple friends by that name.

Frederick is an adorable boy w/ his wavy brown hair & charcoal grey eyes. he's smaller than most of the other toddlers, but perfectly healthy. he's well adjusted and very attached to his mummies. he's showing mixed emotion about the new baby. we're trying to make the transition as smooth as possible for him. most parent complain about the 'terrible twos' but we've nothing to complain about.

Aaron and I, Hayley, are expecting our second child! Nathanael is sometimes crazy and hectic, running around the house, and creating a serious mess. He goes to the park near our house very often to get out that energy. But usually he is quite, usually hangin' with dad watching his videos or playing with his race cars. When we told him he was going to get a brother or sister soon, he became very excited. Aaron and I have decided the baby's name was goping to be Ryan Jeffery, if its a boy, or Samantha June, for a girl!

Tristan desperately wants a little brother to play with, he says that a little sister would be ok but only if she liked adventuring. Shiloh has made a huge fort with the help of my father, its huge, it goes up in a tree for a lookout but most of it is in the ground and some smaller rooms underground. Tristan and Shiloh have taken to sleeping in there often and seem to be conspiring about something called 'mummy's treasure' so i am on close guard that they dont steal anything of mine!

Tristan desperately wants a little brother to play with, he says that a little sister would be ok but only if she liked adventuring. Shiloh has made a huge fort with the help of my father, its huge, it goes up in a tree for a lookout but most of it is in the ground and some smaller rooms underground. Tristan and Shiloh have taken to sleeping in there often and seem to be conspiring about something called 'mummy's treasure' so i am on close guard that they dont steal anything of mine!
Shiloh and i hope we have another son because we love our little adventurer!

When we brought Nathan home, Ethan was rather excited. He loves playing with his cousins and we were sure he would easily adapt to a new brother running around. We were highly incorrect. Ethan runs around reaking havoc anymore and becomes rebellious whenever Nathan is around. We really do treat the boys equally, but Ethan doesn't see it that way. With a newborn in the house, it's hard to manage a raving 2-year old, but we are trying to manage all the same.
Nathan is the opposite of Ethan. Nathan sleeps most of the day and stays wide awake in the night. He is very clingy, especially when Ethan or one of his cousins is around. He refuses to go to his grandparents, aunts, and uncles and wants no one except Rob and Marie. Though caring for Nathan is a challenge, they love him all the same.

Xander loves animals above everything right now and can spend hours upson hours just sitting outside playing or watching worms, frogs, snakes, bugs, anything he can get his hands on! He's quite quiet and doesn't talk much to anyone- he usually gets by with only a few words and then likes to try getting everything by himself without help.

I've recently given up my PR job to devote myself completely to Lockie, and to the new baby on the way! We're so excited.

Morgaine and Arthur got married in August when Titus was 4 months old. They had a nice ceremony outside but they both kept their names, as it is easier for their jobs (actress and teacher). When Titus was 1 1/2 Morgaine noticed she was pregnant again. As Titus was such a easygoing baby, Arthur and Morgaine where happy to have a new addition to their family. The baby is now due in 3 months, and they don't want to know it's gender yet. They have settled on Elliot Fred or Rose Alana for names.
Titus has grown into a beautiful boy with long curly light brown hair and his blue-green eyes are bright and seem to suck everything in they see. He loves to go wondering outside in the garden and his favourite toy is his bug viewer. He seems to have so many questions!
Titus has become good friends with his cousin Manon, 6 months older and adopted by auntie Fern and her husband Patrick. Arthurs brother Owen and his husband Paige had a baby girl only two months after Titus' birth, Samantha June was early and had to be in an incubator for 2 weeks. But now she and Titus have become best friends!
Morgaine's brother Gideon and his partner Lanis have had girl twins, Pia Mary and Polly Melanie. When they get together with Samantha they are little terrors, playing tricks on the other children. Of course nothing serious.

Jago is now two years old and has become quite a handful. He's a happy child and laughs a lot, but demands a lot of attention. He loves to play with blocks and with balls. He often loses his toys and the blocks and balls can be found all around the house. He does not understand yet that his mum is expecting another child and that soon he won't be an only child anymore. The next baby will be named Kyle Alexander if he's a boy and Indiana June. Milo is an insufferable musician, I'll have you know. He's utterly convinced that if we have a girl this time, she ought to be named Jazz June. I've been trying to reason with him, but it hasn't been working well; he really loves that poem by Gwendolyn Brooks, the one that goes like this:

Strike straight. We
Sing sin. We
Thin gin. We
Jazz June. We
Die soon."
I don't see why he wants to name a baby after that, but I do have to admit that Jazz and Ike Brightman sound pretty good. I think we're going to go with June Alissa, and he can call her whatever the hell he likes. If it's a boy, Elliot Thomas sounds good. Ike and Elliot, yeah? They work.
Speaking of Ike, he's got to be the least shy two year old I've ever seen. The boy talks like there's no tomorrow. He waited until just recently to start speaking, but when he did--hoo, boy! Straight sentences, and pretty good ones, too. It's my pet theory that Ike mostly wants to keep up with Milo, who's definitely a talker himself. Besides being chatty, he's a friendly kid. Loves doggies, kitties, birdies, fishies, froggies--any animal that can end in "-ie"--and if he sees one, he'll tear toward it. Until he learns that not all animals are as friendly as he is, he's going to be strollering through the park; I'm afraid he's going to get bitten. He also loves people, especially his playmate, Rod MacAllister-Levittson (there's a mouthful!). They spend a lot of time together while their dads are at shows and practices.
