ok here i am
To make some combos for thee!
Dashiell - Dashiell is great. I immediately think of a Victorian gent with scads of money who is deliciously bored with life and lies around in a languidly beautiful state. Therefore: Dashiell Rupert, Dashiell Basil, Dashiell Dorian, Dashiell Albert, Dashiell Alfred, Dashiell Anton
Maksim - Maksim is bold and loud and burly yet dashing; I think of a tolstoy hero who is totally innocent and artless and blunders passionately towards his destiny. Maksim Franz, Maksim Anton, Maksim Aleksander, Maksim Artur, Maksim Leo, Maksim Benedikt, Maksim Eduard, Maksim Thaddeus.
Amir - Amir is sleek and mysterious like a modern jet-setting version of Aladdin's lamp. Amir Benesh, Amir Doron, Amir Faivish, Amir Falk, Amir Gavriel, Amir Immanuel, Amir Malachi, Amir Oz

Boys
1) John Alexander - a family name...the person in question has of yet only been honored by initials because of a shortage of men in the family and the honoring of others.
2) Severus Alexander - if I use Severus and John Alexander then I'll have to change out the middle name for Severus...my intent is something classical (Greek or Latin). Any suggestions? Maybe Augustus?
3) Horatio Nelson - yes, I still wish to honor the admiral.
4) Francis Sudbury - Sudbury is a family name.
5) Frederick George
6) Percival Arthur or Percival Ignatius - Percival Ignatius was the first Percival combo I ever wanted to use, and considering that Ignatius is becoming more popular in Australia, by the time I use it, it may be considered posh in America (at least that's my reasoning)
7) Edward Charles - Charles is a new love of mine, and Edward is my consistant favorite
8) Archibald Colin
9) Lawrence Oliver
10) James Godric or Godric James

Question on Marie
How does it make you think of Blackbirds & Blackberries?
How does it make you think of Blackbirds & Blackberries?
I am not sure how the blackbird/berry thing happened. I was sitting on a bus on my way home from work and thinking about Marie and how pastelly it is, when suddenly I thought of it in terms of the juxtaposition of dark and light, like a blackbird on a bare branch against a pearl-grey sky or a bowl of blackberries in cream, and the name just came alive for me.
I like Ambrose Xavier, Theodore James, and Wallace "Wally" for boys. Wally is such a cute nickname.
For girls, I like Pearl, Marie, Ines / Inez, Miriam, and Marianne the best. I prefer Miriam over Marianne, but both are pretty. Miriam is so lovely.

Marie Sylvia
Marie Sidonia
Marie Pearl
Marie Patience
Marie Constance

I would never think of Ambrose as a thuggish name. hmmm. I like that combo because of my Xavier Ambrose Winter dream but I'm not sure how I feel about Xavier in front.
He does kinda sound like a snobby euro footballer, I'll give you that.
Dinah is growing on me too in leaps and bounds. I like how quiet and unassuming it seems. Dinah Blythe is very pretty.

I love Effie, though it's probably a guilty pleasure only name for me.
I really like these:
Anne - Anne is growing on me and it is a WEIRDING ME OUT
Claire
Alexandra - even though I am not a fan of this name, I cannot deny how utterly beautiful it is
Virginia
Effie - eeeee
Fionnuala
Bronwen - I met a Bronwen the other day! in a set of triplets! her sister's name was Taylor, isn't that a shame? I never found out what the other sister was called.
Llewellyn - I beg you to use this! I would love to know there is a tiny Llewellyn in the world.
James
Charles
Theodore - let's have matching Theodores

Ok I love like all of these.
Sixtine is crazy cool, where did you find it? I mean, yeah it sounds just like sixteen but sixteen is a good-sounding number.
And I feel like I have seen Mahault somewhere before... is it medieval?
