What do you think of when you hear the name Veronica?
It can be anything- physical qualities, personality traits, just adjectives, whatever.
Thanks in advance.

I think of the Veronica I went all the way through school with - a pretty, average-sized, grey-eyed very dark-haired porcelain-complexioned very intelligent girl.
I think of it as a Roman Catholic name - in the UK anyway.

Honestly, the part from Billy Madison where the teacher (Veronica Vaughn) throws Adam Sandler out of class and when she leaves he says in a high sing songy voice: "Veronica Vaughn... So hot, want to touch the hiney!" And then he makes this weird howling sound. Apparently I used to say that line a lot when I was little? =/I do like Veronica though.

On the one hand: a snotty, annoying girl, on the other hand: Veronica Mars.

I am Dutch and I think of the Dutch tv channel Veronica. This is not a good association to me because it's a bit of a tacky and sexistic channel. But of course, if you're not Dutch this shouldn't discourage you.

Elvis Costello"She used to have a carefree mind of her own and a devilish look in her eye. These days, I'm afraid she's not even sure if her name is Veronica."Not to get too off topic, but do you know he was born: Declan Patrick MacManus? I hear Declan more and more. I sort of like it now, but won't like it if it becomes trendy - sort of like Aidan and Ava, I liked them until they became overused.

Now way! They were definitely favorites...I think of Veronica from Archie as well. Beautiful and knows it, somewhat bratty, knows how to get what she wants.

It reminds me of Veruca Salt from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, just coz of the similarity in sounds. I strongly suspect that it's this character that put me off most v- names. Veronica is therefore a spoilt, bratty girl.
Secondarily, it reminds me of the show Veronica's Closet which was on quite a while ago now. I really liked the name at the time, because of the show, and it would always be my name in whatever game my friends and I were playing. My nickname was always Ronnie, which I think was the same as the TV character.

I love the sound of Veruca....and if it were not for the fact that it means warts, I would consider using it.

Someone striking, passionate and hard-headed (and perhaps a bit shrewish). Dark hair and sharp features. (Alternatively, curly red hair.)It also makes me think of the Elvis Costello song.

Dark-haired, wise or at least "knowing", fashionable, pretty, sassy...not a pushover. Kind of like a cool older sister.

Veronica Mars!Spunky, snarky teenage private eye! See also: blonde, short, cynical, witty, self-absorbed, social pariah, a good person at the end of the day.*loved that show waaaaay too much*

VeronicaBrings to mind a strong-willed, intelligent, passionate woman - someone who is very sure of what she wants. She's beautiful...but it's beauty that springs from the inside, not the outside.

A rich, spoiled, self-centered, pretty brunette, because of Veronica in the Archie comic books. I really like the name, but that's the first thing that came to mind. It's funny that the first thing that came to mind for myself and the previous two posters is a brunette, since Veronica Lake was a blonde.

I think of a very stunning brunette woman who is voluptuous and confident. She's extroverted and other women are envious of her. She's a bit of a show-off, but a lot of fun to be around. I think it's a great name!

A tall skinny long haired brunette (wavy) :0)
