It sounds to me like a perfect, polyamorous marriage between Evelyn, Violet, and invented names in general--like someone working on that film knew something about names and wanted to try and start a new trend.
I sincerely doubt that 10,000 BC is going to end up a classic in the canon of Great Films, but even if no one remembers it in twenty years, a young Evolet's name is still going to sound very dated to this decade. It has the "now" sounds repackaged.
