It's handsome and has a great meaning - I like the fact that it's Latin. It makes me think of good luck, prosperity, and felines, which in my mind are good associations. One of my favorite boys' names, over all.

I've actually considered adding it to my name list. It has a nice sound, a nice meaning, isn't overused, and is all around just great. In fact, the only thing that even remotely puts me off is the fact that it's the name of a mildly frustrating character in a videogame I've played, but most people haven't even played that game, and he wasn't even that bad of a guy, so I can overlook that association pretty easily.

Yes. I like Felix. It works well on both a child and an adult. It's sweet, yet classic and masculine. I've considered using it as well.

This is one of mine and my DH’s fave boy names! We have had it on our list forever and have had three DS’s, but never chose it! We also love the sound and meaning, but for us, biblical connotations are important and the only Felix mentioned in the Bible was a horrible man, so that always put us off using it. We STILL love it though!
