Lithuanian goddess of cattle, recorded by 17th-century historian and ethnographer Matthäus Prätorius in his work Deliciae Prussica (published in 1703).According to Prätorius, the name Gothia is derived from Lithuanian guota "flock; drove; herd (of small animals)".
