Meaning & History
From Egyptian sḫm-jb-pr.n-mꜣꜥt "the one daring of heart for whom Maat has come forth" or "the one daring of heart going forth for Maat", derived from the Egyptian sḫm "powerful", jb "heart, mind", either pr.n "has gone forth" or pr n "going forth for", and the Egyptian Goddess Maat from mꜣꜥt. This is the name of a 2nd-century early Egyptian pharaoh who was possibly the same person as Seth-Peribsen.
