Meaning & History
Means "preserving glory" from Sanskrit यशस् (yashas) meaning "fame, praise, glory" and धर (dhara) meaning "holding, maintaining, bearing". Yashodhara was the wife of Siddhartha Gautama (the Buddha) who later became a Buddhist nun.
