Possibly deriving from the Hattian elements kattaḫ ("queen") and wur ("country). Name borne by a Hattian and Palaic goddess known from texts surrounding purification and building rituals. Her Hittite equivalent was possibly Kamrušepa, as Kamrusepa takes her place in one Hittite translation of a Hattian ritual text.
