Pronunciation: Dayven (pronounced as in "Dave" with an n)Although someone has submitted this name as a mixture of 'David' and 'Devon', this is only that persons interpretation and sounds like they made it up, although it was actually a pre-existing name.The origin of the name is most likely Indian, although my family name is from Mauritius. It is a Tamil name and means 'God' (much to the dismay of my girlfriend!)
