Variant of POTENTIA. According to "'Ancient Magnificence': St Andrews in the Middle Ages", this name belonged to one of the three consecrated virgins, along with Saint Triduana, who accompanied Saint REGULUS to Scotland with the bones of Saint ANDREW.
