Nefretiri is an alternate English transcription of the Ancient Egyptian Nfrt-jrj, meaning "the most beautiful", the name of the favourite wife of the Pharaoh RAMSES II, often transcribed as NEFERTARI in English. This transcription was used in the popular 1956 film The Ten Commandments.
