In other words, you could also say that this name is a variant of IEVUTĖ.A known bearer of this name was the Lithuanian-American model and actress Jievutė Paulekiutė (1916-2008), who was the first wife of the American politician and philanthropist Winthrop Rockefeller (1912-1973). She was born near Noblestown in Pennsylvania to Lithuanian immigrants and was known as Eva Paul (an anglicization of her Lithuanian name) throughout her childhood and even briefly used it as a stage name before eventually changing her name to Barbara "Bobo" Paul Sears after her marriage to her first husband Richard Sears, Jr. in 1941.
