Tobin m  Toby's an okay nickname, but I don't think it works as a full name, and I don't like Tobias, so Tobin it is.

Simon 1 m  With so many celebrities, toys, and games featuring Simon, I guess it's just very familiar to me. I'm more likely to use Simon than Simone. 
Sebastian m  Little Mermaid aside, I like the impression this name gives - but I don't like Bastian. Yes, I'd rather have a son compared to a Jamaican crab than a whiny motherless kid from an 80's flick. 
Sean m  I definitely prefer this spelling. I've noticed that the majority of my boy names end in N and are either Anglicized versions of Irish names, or the actual Irish names.

Ryan m  I like it for a BOY! Seriously, aren't there enough freaking girls' names? What's so frilly and feminine about LITTLE KING???

Oliver m  New nephew. It's a family name, so I expect it to crop up a lot.

Noah 1 m  I didn't realize this was being used for girls, even scarcely. It's not one of my faves. 
Nicholas m  Another name I would avoid in December, but still love. 
Nathaniel m  Don't really like Nate, but I like the similarities to Daniel. It'd have to be a middle name if I used it, though.

Matthias m  I prefer it to Matthew, but I probably won't use it.

Lachlan m  A lot of these names are too Irish to be used, but I still like them. 
Kieran m  I prefer Ciaran, but at least Kieran looks as if it would be pronounced correctly.

Faolán m  I hope he's not clumsy, or bad at baseball. Probably wouldn't use it.

Evan m  It's my oldest nephew's name, therefore I'm not actually going to use it - but it's short, strong, and sweet. 
Ethan m  Too close to Evan now, but nice and classic. 
Duncan m  ...would unfortunately be linked to donuts here. I still like it, though.

Daniel m  THE #1 boys name. 
Ciarán m  I prefer this spelling, and I think enough people know to pronounce it like Kieran (unlike poor Ciara). 
Christopher m  I know so many people named Chris, but I can't resist using it as a middle name. 
Christian m  a nice change from Christopher. 
Brennan m  How often would this kid get called "Brendan" instead? 
Bennett m  I prefer this to Benjamin. 
Benjamin m  Hmm. It's not bad, but I'd prefer just using Ben. 
Ben 1 m  Maybe it's just too short for some people?
