Yumi is also used as a masculine name in Japanese. However, it's more common for females. So, I think that the "Gender" of this name should be changed from "Feminine" to "Feminine & Masculine". Some evidence for this is that Yumi is also used as a name element in unisex and masculine Japanese names, such as Yumichika, Yumikazu, etc.Sources: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yumi_(name) (I think) https://forebears.io/forenames/yumi (I think)
It's also a common Korean name. Not sure if there's any relation or it's a coincidence. [noted -ed]

Yumi was very common for girls in Japan in the 1960s.It first entered the top 10 in 1962. It peaked at #2 in 1967 and was last in the top 10 in 1972.It became popular after Yumiko was already extremely common and stayed in the top 10 with Yumiko for a few years. It managed to stay in the top 10 only one year longer than Yumiko and their popularity faded together. In its most popular year, 1967, Yumiko was at #1 and Yumi at #2. 由美 (reason, cause + beautiful) is the most common spelling.
