Honestly, this is a really cute nickname for William. Will and Liam are done to death, Bill/Billy & Willy seem to be out of vogue, I think Wilkin would be kind of refreshing and it’s so old it sounds modern! Wilkie would be cute when he’s a baby/toddler too!
